Rainbocorns Series 2 Sequin Surprise Egg Review
Emma was really excited to get the chance to review a Rainbocorns Series 2 Sequin Surprise Egg and aRainbocorns Sparkle Heart Surprise Egg. She was especially happy because she’s previously reviewed a toy bundle from Zuru which also contained a Rainbocorn (said Rainbocorn has now won pride of place on her bed).
Rainbocorns Series 2 Egg Hatching
Rainbocorns are soft, sparkly and super-cut cuddly toys. They arrive in a surprise egg, so you don’t know what type of Rainbocorn will hatch until you’ve got it home and helped it out of its shell. Very exciting!
Season 2 of Rainbocorns brings 13 new characters, all with a sweet scent and a cute face. There are different species of Rainbocorn to collect: Unicorns, Owlcorns, Pandacorns, Lioncorns, Llamacorns and Flamingocorns. There is also a super rare Golden Flamingcorn which is highly sought after!
Inside our egg
All eggs come with a reversible sequin heart, which reveals surprise when swiped. Our egg had guitar on it, which I think means our Rainbocorn likes music. The heart is removeable and can be attached to your Rainbocorn or clipped to your child.
When you remove the heart on the egg, you see your first glimpse of who’s inside the egg. We could also smell the gorgeous coconut scent, which Emma really loved.
Emma was very happy to hatch a Llamacorn called Chico – she’s all about the llamas at the minute!
Our Llamacorn has really soft, fluffy hair. It’s very cuddly and has the most adorable face!
I’m really impressed with the scent too. It’s very coconutty and not in any way overpowering or synthetic-smelling.
We love our Llamacorn and were impressed with the extras in the egg. The egg also contains a Boo-Boocorn, some stickers, Rainbocorn poop and a surprise accessory.

The blind bag inside the egg contained a surprise accessory – the charm bracelet below.
All in all, I’d say the Rainbocorns are good value for money. They certainly have a lot of cool surprises and would make an amazing gift. They’re available from Argos and Smyths – RRP £24.99.
Rainbocorns Sparkle Heart Surprise
The Rainbocorns Sparkle Heart Surprise is a mini version of the Rainbocorns egg. It contains a smaller character, some Rainbocorn poop, and a Boo-boocorn.
Emma was eager to get inside and was really thrilled with who she got.
Our Sparkle Heart Surprise Rainbocorn Surprise was Rufus – who I believe is a Puppycorn.
He had a peelable sticker on his belly that revealed a picture when removed. Rufus’ picture is a hot dog. Very cute!
There was a smaller egg inside the which contained a Boo-Boocorn and a packet of rainbow Rainbocorn poop.
These mini Rainbocorns make for great little treats. The RRP is only £9.99, so they’re cool gifts too or the sort of thing you might buy if your child does really well at school and deserves a reward.
