Zuru kindly sent us some half term entertainment to celebrate the launch of 5 Surprise Series 2. We received three 5 Surprise Series 2 lucky dips, a Rainbocorn and a Robo Alive.
Surprise toys always go down well with my kids. My son loves watching the unboxing videos on YouTube, while my daughter enjoys getting her own mystery toys and having a play at unboxing them like a famous YouTuber!
5 Surprise Series 2 – What to Expect
The 5 Surprise lucky dip comes in a wrapped ball that consists of segments like an orange. To get to the collectables inside you need to unwrap and peel to reveal the toys in each of the five segments. Five surprise in one toy is the stuff dreams are made of, according to my kids.
The 5 surprise series two is much like series 1, where the packaging comes in pink or blue to give you clue of what sort of toys might be inside. It’ll come as no surprise that the pink ones contain items that are more traditionally associated with girls, while the blue contains items that boys stereotypically like.
Inside the Blue 5 Surprise
5 Surprise Series 2 has hundreds of new toys to collect, but the blue edition might contain cars, pens, skateboards or any number of little figurines.
Inside our blue 5 Surprise series two we received a car, some very realistic fake maggots, a zombie bus, some changing dinosaur pictures and an aircraft (all pictured above).
Inside the Pink 5 Surprise
We were lucky enough to receive two pink 5 surprises from series 2 – much to the delight of my daughter. You can expect to receive jewellery, small dolls, and pens, but there are many more options available.
In our first one, we received stickers, a stamp, a doll that turns into a cupcake, a cute animal ring and a dog in an ice cream cone.
In our second pink 5 Surprise, we received a felt tip pen, another doll that turns into a cupcake, a doll in a ball gown, a rabbit ring and a cat figurine.
Both kids were extremely happy with their hauls, not to mention the extra toys they were sent!
Alongside the 5 Surpirse toys we also received a Robo Alive and a Raibocorn.
My son claimed the Robo Alive T-Rex and was delight to discover it chases him across the room, roars and bites him if he sticks his finger out.
The Rainbocorn was just as exciting as the 5 Surprise for my daughter as it had its own surprise element. The Rainbocorn arrives in an egg and you can’t see the contents before you open it.
The heart on the front of the egg can be attached to the Rainbocorn’s tummy for a different look, and there’s a mini surprise egg in the bottom of the main egg.
She was very pleased with her haul!
