We love our HEXBUG Nano Flash Playground, it get the kids squealing with excitement when they play with it.
What does a HEXBUG do?
A Hexbug is a tiny little robotic creature that operates on vibration technology that makes it look like it’s a living bug running around. It can turn change direction, turn corners and generally explore its environment.
Flip it upside down to find the on/off switch, once you’ve flipped it, your HEXBUG will be ready to roam!
What is the HEXBUG Nano Flash Playground?
The Nano Flash Playground is exactly what it sounds like – a playground for HEXBUGS! You can set it up in whichever way you choose and it provides a playground for HEXBUGS to explore. They’ll run up the ramp and around the turnstyle, changing direction every time they hit a wall.
What age are HEXBUGS for?
This set is suitable from 3+, but my son is almost 6 and loves it. To be honest, I’m 33 and I think they’re really fun, so let’s just say ‘three upwards’.
How Easy is the HEXBUG Nano Flash Playground to Set Up?
Thankfully, the HEXBUG Nana Flash Playground set is really easy to set up. It looks pretty daunting when you get it our the box because the box itself contains lots of parts. The box also contains instructions that are lovely and easy to follow. You can create the track however you like and we’ve had a few permutations. Creating the track is half the fun!
Overall Opinion
The HEXBUG Nano Flash Playground is heaps of fun and I’d definitely recommend it to family and friends. I’d even buy it as a gift for nieces and nephews. It’s loads of fun watching those robotic critters scurry around the track I’ve created.
