SpyX Micro Gear Set Review – A Fun Kid’s Spy Kit
The SpyX Micro Gear kid’s spy set contains everything you need for mobile spy surveillance. We gave it a thorough testing and think it’s good enough to be in a real spy’s kit. As a bonus, it’s also loads of fun!
What’s in the box?
The kit contains:
- A utility belt.
- Attachment clips for the belt.
- Micro motion alarm.
- Micro listener.
- Invisible ink pen.
- Micro ear light.
The Utility Belt and Clips
All of the spy gear sits inside the attachment clips and can be worn on the utility belt. I think it’s meant to be worn across the body, but Greg didn’t get that memo! He likes to wear the belt around his waste and I think it looks pretty good there, and the kit is conveniently accessible.
Micro Listening Device
This might be Greg’s favourite item in the kit. The micro listening device can be pressed flush to surfaces with the ear piece tucked in your ear to covertly listen. It’s brought a lot of spying excitement and seems to be the perfect device for spying on your sister!
Invisible Ink Pen
No spy can work without an invisible ink pen. One end of this pen writes in invisible ink and the other unveils the message by using a special UV light.
Write your message in invisible ink, store the secret message inside the pen then use the UV light to uncover the mystery.
Micro Motion Detector
Set up the motion detector to catch people out who are where they shouldn’t be. Set it for motion or vibrations, depending on your stake out. Once the alarm is triggered it makes a loud noise and there’s no getting away!
Micro Ear Light
This light can clip on your ear to allow you to do some hands-free investigating. Greg prefers to hold it while he searches the perimeter for suspicious activity. The light is a reddish/orange colour and not too bright for any spy kids in the making.
What we though of the SpyX Micro Gear kid’s spy kit
We love these spy gadget for kids! They’re perfect for little hands, simple to use and look the part. It’ll make a great Christmas or birthday present for any budding spies and has already provided hours of entertainment in our house.
There is nothing more exciting than being a spy, and Greg has been eager to investigate his secret missions since he first opened the box. This kit is definitely worth the money and is bound to inspire a sense of adventure in its recipient.
