Heroes of Goo Jit Zu Series 2 (from Character) has landed and they’re very popular in my house.
Stretchy, squishy and this time with an added aqua-blast feature, the heroes are ready to battle! The Heroes of Goo Jit Zu Series 2 boasts loads of great characters and were were send a few to play with.
Heroes of Goo Jit Zu Series 2 Review
The new range of Heroes of Goo Jit Zu can now launch a double-edged attack! Fill your Goo Jit Zu’s head with water to fire at their opponents. Their arms are weapons and they can stretch, bend and squish into lots of different shapes.
Familiar heroes Blazagon, Pantaro and Thrash from series 1 return and are joined with four new characters – Redback, Frill Neck, Gigatusk and Hydra, all with the new power of aqua-blast!
Below are the heroes we’ve been playing with:
Gigatusk
This strong-looking hero, Gigatusk, is filled with crunchy balls, which makes for an interesting texture when you squeeze or squish him. Hi weapon-morphing arm works as a powerful mallet to defeat any foes!
He’s super stretchy, as you can tell by the sheer concentration on my son’s face in the photo above! They stretch to up to three times their size, which is pretty impressive.
Blazagon
Blazagon looks a bit like a dragon, squirts water like the others and is just as stretchy. He’s filled with a mix of goo and pieces of glitter which gives it’s an interesting texture to squeeze.
Thrash
Thrash looks like an angry shark and is filled with water and tiny white beads. He can do everything the others can do and his first doubles up as a trident!
What we thinks of Heroes of Goo Jit Zu Series 2
In case you couldn’t tell, we love this fierce-looking heroes. Each one is therapeutically tactile and heaps of fun. My son particularly likes the aqua-blast feature for squirting bad guys (and big sisters). He also like to show off his immense strength by putting on a stretching show for family members.
Would I Recommend Heroes of Goo Jit Zu?
I absolutely would recommend them! Greg has had a lot of play value from his. The aqua blast feature makes a fun addition to an already-great toy. They make impressive-looking gifts and really have the power to wow kids aged 5+ who love the notion of heroes, baddies and toys that battle.
