We were “scent” some Foodie Roos for the purpose of this review, but all thoughts and opinions are our own.
We’re a little bit collectable mad at our house. If something exciting is a collectable, then they have to try and get them all and Foodie Roos are no different. They love to sniff out a new trend!
When I introduced these fun, scented plush toys to the kids, they went mad for them. Emma can’t get enough and Greg has been showing off his collection to anyone who enters our house.
What are Foodie Roos?
Food Roos are plush toys that look, feel and smell like their favourite foods. Series 1 has just launched and there are 20 to collect. The toys come in brightly coloured containers that turn into the Foodie’s room, and are patterned in a vivid print that looks exactly like their favourite food!
We got Fruit Cup, Cookies, Pretzels, Juice, Gummies and Soda and they all smell amazing!
Foodie Roos: What’s in the box?
These little cuties are available in single or multipacks. My box contained an assortment of six different Foodie Roos. Inside each tub is your Foodie Roo, instructions, two rods, a collector’s booklet, and stickers to decorate their room with.
How do you convert the Foodie Roos container into their room?
It’s probably easier than you think to convert the Foodie Roos container into their room. First take off the lid and take out the contents. Snip the little knot at the bottom of the container so it can come apart fully.
Two rods will be present which as essential for setting up the room.
Align the pegs with the holes in the bottom of the container and push them in .
Next, use the clips to attach the container to the lid, and there you have it!
What did the kids think of the Foodie Roos?
Foodie Roos are great, so obviously my kids loved them! The Pretzel one seems to be the favourite because it smells great but also feels kind of crunchy inside! To be fair, the kids loved all of them and my daughter is very keen on her Gummies Foodie.
They’re cute little toys that would make great stocking fillers and it’s always great to see what you’re getting. Unlike some other collectables, there is no risk of duplicates because the type of Foodie you get is written on the container! I can see I’ll definitely be buying more of these for both kids in the future.
