Discover Boys Luxury Clothes at Affordable Prices

When I first had Greg, I found it really difficult to seek out boy’s clothes that were anything special. It seemed like the shops in my town hadn’t considered that mums might want to dress their little boys in anything other than basics (which was fine for day-to-day but not special outings or events).

I searched high and low before coming across some online favourites that always delivered. I found the Ralph Lauren kids sale on Strawberry children’s clothing site to have a lovely selection. There are brightly coloured items of clothing that can really add a pop of colour to an otherwise plain wardrobe.

Reasons to go for Luxury Boys Clothing

Some might find it a little extravagant to opt for designer clothes on younger kids (who arguably don’t know the difference), but I think it’s a lovely treat  – for them and you! Mothers especially, tend to get judged the hardest for the choices they make when it comes to their kids. I have a very ‘live and let live’ philosophy and think people should do their own thing, having said that, I do like to chat about my choices.

I think opting for luxury children’s clothing is a harmless treat with lots of benefits. Below are some of my favourite reasons to choose designer or luxury items of clothing for my kids.

They Are Often Better Quality Than Regular Clothing

There is no doubt that you get what you pay for. In my experience, luxury and designer children’s clothing is generally better quality than more basic brands. Often the quality shows in the materials used, I find them to be made of thicker and softer fabric. I also noticed less obvious differences, such as better stitching that seems both neater and more secure.

They Stand Out

Often, luxury clothing will be easy to spot. The more you spend, the more money and effort has gone into the design process. Perhaps some of the clothing will be hand finished, or a more complicated pattern. They will often look different to clothes that can be mass produced for cheaper. I think it’s lovely for children to feel that they have something a bit special. I remember a handful of ‘best’ outfits from my childhood (including some shiny, red shoes) and I think it’s wonderful for my own kids to have similar memories of their favourite things.

You Don’t Have to Spend a Fortune

I don’t have the cash to kit my kids out head-to-toe in luxury clothing – and I don’t know any other parents who do either! That’s part of what makes buying a handful of designer clothes so special – you don’t need to spend a fortune to spice up their wardrobe. I generally buy a couple of impressive-looking pieces, then use them to mix and match with the rest of their wardrobe until they have grown out of them. That way, you manage to have a fair few clothing combinations for parties and special occasions, without having to buy lots of expensive clothes.

I also try and look for sale items too. I don’t care if the clothing isn’t the newest item out, I choose items of clothing based on look rather than how ‘this season’ they are. If I like something that has been reduced, I’m even happier to buy it than I would be when it was brand new out! Sales are always a good place to look if you’re hoping to add a few luxury pieces to your child’s wardrobe.
