The Cybex Eezy S Twist+2 pushchair is a versatile compact stroller, that’s handy for families who like to get out and about. I was lucky enough to be sent one for my daughter and I to put to the test.
We live in Lincolnshire, which has a mixture of terrains – urban pavement, countryside and the beach. This meant we could truly put the stroller through its paces and give it a thorough test before we wrote this review.

As a family of five, we tend to get out and about a lot and need something that’s convenient to use, space saving and lightweight. All of these things are what the Cybex Eezy S Twist+2 are known for, so we couldn’t wait to get testing!
The Cybex Eezy S Twist+2 is suitable from birth up to about 4 years (or 22kg). This makes it a great investment as it will grow with your baby and last you well. It only weighs 8.6kg, which makes it useful for getting out and about, and has folded dimension of L68cm x W47.5cm x H30.4cm.

Does the Cybex Eezy S Twist+2 Recline Easily?
Our daughter is an average-sized 16 month old, so she fits smack bang in the middle of the suitable age ranges. What’s most important to us is her comfort when she’s out and about. We wanted a stroller that was compact enough to come with us wherever we went, but also gives her enough space so sit or sleep comfortably.

Some pushchairs are a bit clunky in the reclining process, meaning if you try to recline it as your little one is nodding off, you can easily disturb them. The Cybex Easy S Twist stroller reclines really smoothly and very flat.
As you can see from the picture, the back of the stroller fully reclines, lending itself well to nap times on-the-go.
How easy is the Cybex Eezy S Twist+2 to use?
Thankfully the Cybex Eezy S Twist+2 is incredibly easy to use, making it a great choice for family outings. It folds down small in a couple of steps and it easy enough to unfold too. Its compact fold size means it can fit easily in a car boot or any public transport.

Another great feature is that it can spin round with very little effort, with a one-hand rotation mechanism. This means you can take it from forward-facing to parent-facing in one easy movement. In the past I’ve owned strollers where you need to remove the seat and place it back on facing the other direction to get the same result, so having as ‘eezy’ twist function is a real boon.

In order to achieve the twist, you just have to lift the foot rest and manoeuvre the seat round.
How does the Cybex Eezy S Twist+2 stroller fare on different terrains?
The Cybex Eezy S Twist+2 stroller is often lauded for its ability to tackle various terrains. It had large rear wheels that can assist with uneven land and large curbs. I put it to the test across the main surfaces I expect it cross if you’re travelling (in the UK or abroad).
Pavement
Pavement is pretty much the most basic terrain for a stroller to tackle. If you can’t get a stroller to work on pavement, then you’ve got trouble. As expected, the Eezy S Twist+2 works really well on pavement. It’s comfortable to push for even a tall lady like me (I’m 5’9 with quite short arms, so pushchair height it important to me). The large wheels help tackle uneven paving and curbs of any size. It glide smoothly and if I needed to steer with one hand, I could.

Countryside
The Eezy S Twist+2 fared really well on our country walk. We hit a bumpy bit of grassy public footpath but the wheels coped well and we were able to power through on our walk. Most of the walk was on the tracks regular foot traffic makes at the sides of fields, so the terrain was grassy and on occasion, a little muddy. It did a great job of taking us on our journey.
Beach
When you take a stroller to the beach, the main problem you face is getting down onto the wet sand. I find most wheels don’t stand a chance on the dry sand, so the challenge usually involves lifting the buggy and the baby down some steps. This stroller is lightweight enough to take down onto the sand one-handed, and is easy enough to push across the wet sand. The only real struggle we faced was actually convincing the baby to come home!
Features we love about the Cybex Eezy S Twist+2
There are loads of things we love about the Cybex Eezy S Twist+2, so I thought I’d mention some of the reasons we like the most.
For starters, it really looks the part. It’s one of the most stylish compact strollers I’ve seen. I love the leather effect accents on the handle and the bar that goes across baby on the stroller. It adds a dash of style to something that’s usually only about function.

It also comes with a rain cover, which fits nicely into the shopping tray below. There is also a small pocket on the back of it, which is a great place to zip your purse and phone if you don’t want to be loaded up on a day out.
The fact that it’s suitable from birth to 4 years is also a huge bonus. Most baby things only last a few months before they’re no longer of use, so it’s refreshing to have something that grows with baby.
Comfort is also very important, as most compact strollers put a lot of effort into being as lightweight as possible, so don’t look like they have enough substance to provide a comfy seat. Our little girl looks right at home in this stroller, and loves to fall asleep in the dropped back position.
Final Thoughts on the Cybex Eezy S Twist+2 Stroller
All in all I think the Cybex Eezy S Twist+2 stroller is great buy for a family-on-the-go. It makes the perfect companion for UK holidays and days out, and fares well on all terrains its likely to meet. The turning top is a real selling point for me, as my little one like the variety of facing the world, but sometimes prefers the comfort of facing me.
