I was recently looking for a neck and shoulder massager with heat because my shoulders are getting mighty sore. I spend a lot of time working from home, hunched over my laptop and I’m starting to feel the strain. So in the interest of self-care, I decided a DIY massager was the answer.
Zenkuru Neck and Shoulder Massager with Heat Review
I found the massager I wanted – the Zenkuru Wireless Multi Massager, which was very kindly gifted to me in return for an honest review.
I was very excited to receive the neck and shoulder massager with heat, because my hunched posture was causing me more discomfort by the day (not to mention the ever increasing tension caused by having the kids off school for summer)!
Zenkuru Neck and Shoulder Massager: What’s in the Box?
The wireless massager comes with a charger cable, a converter plug and several different heads. Each head has a different purpose and I found some better than others for what I needed. The hand held unit takes about 3 and a half hours to each a full charge, then it can be used wirelessly.
There are four heads, has large soft plastic brushlike bristles (this is my favourite head when I’m dealing with neck and shoulder pain). It spreads the pressure and leaves my muscles feeling relaxed.
Another head has three smaller heads with lumps on it, I believe this would be better for lower down your back and more generalised tension.
The other two heads are similar to one another. One is a large ball-shape for general tension complaints and the other looks the same but has a grape-sized lump on it, to get an extra deep massage in problem areas.
The heads are easy to change, they screw on and off with little effort. I really like that you can change the intensity of the massage by using the + and – buttons to make the vibrations stronger or weaker. The heat option is great for very sore muscles and I’m pleased there is an option not to use it (especially since these past few weeks have been boiling!
I would recommend this massager to anyone who has shoulder and neck pain like I do, it’s really eased up the tension and discomfort. If you’re wanting to spend a bit more time on your own self-care I recommend you check out coolstuff.com for their other items. I’ve go my eye on a foot massager and a facial steamer to complete my DIY spa day!
