Sleek i-Divine Oh So Special Palette Review

The Sleek i-Divine Oh So Special palette is a gorgeous mix of warm and cool hues, comprising of shimmer, foiled and matte eyeshadows.

We all know by now that I’m a bit of an eyeshadow junkie (although I prefer the name collector). Beautiful palettes catch my eye and I just have to have them.

Sometimes the perfect palette just lands in my lap (thanks to subscription boxes), which is how I came to possess the Sleek i-Divine Oh So Special Palette. It came to arrived via the October ‘Trick or Treat’ Glossybox, but I didn’t have time to write about it before now.

Sleek i-Divine Palette: Oh So Special

I’ve always been a fan of Sleek, they make beautiful palettes and the price is always below a tenner, so totally affordable. The colours in each palette are usually gorgeous and well pigmented when you apply them.

The Oh So Special palette has a mix of foiled shades, shimmers and mattes, meaning you can create a variety of looks from one palette.

When I swatched the Oh So Special palette, I used a full coverage foundation base on my arm to mimic using a base on my eyelids. Most of the colours stayed put when I did the smudge test, the browns smudged a little (which could be useful for a smokey look) but the whole of the top layer of the black transferred really easily.

It’s easy to see that the colours are gorgeous, and the foiled colours have a nice glow to them.

The application was smooth and each colour was really blendable. I went for a really simple look that used darker colours in the creases and lighter colours towards my nose. I tried to highlight an area in the middle of my lid with the really sugary pink, but these photos don’t show it so well.

I also used the lighter colours under my brow to highlight my brown bone. I’m planning on creating cold tone look from this palette too, because that’s the beauty of the selections in the Oh So Special palette.

I would recommend this palette, you’ll struggle to find anything as nice for the price. I don’t like how easily smudged the black is, so if you’re planning on using it, I’d suggest you don’t use a lot and perhaps finish with a fixing spray.

Eyeshadow palettes are something I'm really into and this i-Divine palette by Sleek Makeup is just perfect. I love the warm and cool tones in the same palette and the sugarplum pinks against the rusty brown tones.
