I loved dolls when I was growing up, and really enjoyed changing their clothes and playing at running fashion shows. Although I found getting them dressed up a little fiddly at times, I still enjoyed putting outfits together and posing the dolls.
When my daughter was sent some Off The Hook Style Dolls for us to try out, a rush of nostalgia drew me in and I sat down to play with the dolls with her.

The difference between these dolls, and the dolls I used to play with is that changing outfits couldn’t be simpler! The dolls come apart and you can hook together different heads tops and bottoms. The shoes pop off the ends of the legs too, and loads of cool accessories are also available, such as bags and sunglasses.
The range includes Mila, Vivian, Naia and Brooklyn – cool names for cool dolls. Each part of the doll can be swapped and styled so that you get the look you want. You have the freedom to let your child’s imagination run wild, with real fabric, sparkly styles and metallic looks for them to customise their Off The Hook Style Dolls from head to toe!
I like the way the dolls look, they have pretty faces, trendy hairstyles and clothing and accessories for almost every fashion taste.
Another awesome thing about these Off The Hook Style Dolls is that each package comes with a surprise! My daughter adores anything that adds excitement to an already exciting thing (i.e. getting a new doll). This is the Off The Hook Style BFF Assortment, it contains two dolls that also come with 4 blind bag surprise accessories!
The Off The Hook Style Closet comes with one doll, eight accessories, a wardrobe rail and four blind bag surprises!
Here’s what those surprises were:
We loved the variety of looks, the customisable nature of the doll and all the exciting accessories.
Our overall impression of these Off The Hook Style Dolls is that they’re great. They’re easy to handle so that smaller hands can swap their outfits around, but cool and appealing enough that they’ll be a hit with older girls too. Since my daughter received these dolls for their Boxing Day Launch, she has asked for more for her birthday at the beginning of January.
I think these dolls are really pretty and help encourage creative children to explore their own fashion tastes. Stockists are The Entertainer and Smyths.
