We got the Melissa & Doug Jungle Activity Table ready for our new arrival (due March)! Although she won’t be able to use it until she’s 12 months +, we’re collecting a few wooden toys where we can. We like wooden toys because they’re usually great quality and last really well.

Review of Melissa & Doug Jungle Activity Table
The Melissa & Doug Jungle Activity Table has 8 activities that are suitable for little ones 12m+. I’ve often found inquisitive babies show an interest in these sort of toys around 10/11 months, but don’t necessarily have the dexterity to get the most out of it.

This table is brightly coloured and absolutely gorgeous. It’s not very tall, which is perfect babies to explore sitting or standing. There are sliding element like the birds above, and cogs that run like the elephants below.

Everything is brightly coloured and chunky – perfect for little hands!

There’s even a little mirror that’s covered by a monkey. Fold the monkey back to show it off! Here’s the mirror:

And here’s the monkey!

This toy is perfect for helping to develop fine motor skills and I believe there is more than enough on the table to grab your tot’s attention.
All the pieces are easy to grasp, and each activity helps encourage exploration.

The jungle animals depicted are super-cute and give off a very friendly feel to them – even the snake!

I’d definitely recommend the Melissa & Doug Jungle Activity Table if you’re thinking of getting it from your tot. It’s currently on sale at Hello Baby and it’s on offer for £41.60!
I’ve always had a generally good experience with Melissa & Doug toys. I find them hard wearing (which is essential in my house) and they’re always popular with my kids!
We’ll be collecting more wooden toys in the coming months, so keep an eye out for more reviews. You might also like these othe reviews of wooden toys: Hape Quadrilla Marble Run Review, Hape Tasty Proteins Review, Hape Crane & Cargo Set Review.
