December Lookfantastic Box

My Last Beauty Box of 2017: December Lookfantastic Box

It’s time to share my last beauty box of the year: the Lookfantastic box. I’m on the look out for new subscription boxes to try, so if you know of any lesser known one, hit me me up!

This month’s box has some beautiful artwork inside the lid (see the featured image above) and has been a totally great haul if I’m honest. A bumper crop!

Bubble T –  Limited Edition Beauty in Wonderland Bath Fizzer

Lookfantastic Box

I’m yet to try this because I’m saving it for my special birthday bath. No, I don’t only bathe on my birthday, I just have a hygiene hierarchy. I’m a firm believer your birthday bath should be the best one. (In case you were wondering, a shower is at the bottom of the food chain and only your most basic toiletries should be used.)

The bath bomb is a limited edition collab with Lookfantastic, so I’m going to enjoy knowing I’ve got something a bit special.

MDMFLOW Matte Lipstick in Bossy

Lookfantastic Box

I’ve had this exact lipstick before and I love it. It’s a super trendy colour, a little too dark to be nude, but not dark enough to be a gothic statement. When I use it I feel like I need to be wearing a choker and have my hair full of salt spray.

Suki Exfoliate Foaming Cleanser

Lookfantastic Box

You only get a tiny bit but it’s actually really good. Winter is the time I need to have a sensitive exfoliator that actually exfoliates. You often end up with something really harsh, or if it claims to be sensitive, it just doesn’t do anything. This was a refreshing change!

Figs and Rouge Hydra Activ Smart nutrient Day Cream

Lookfantastic Box

I’ve had one of these before too from another beauty box. It lives in my handbag for those makeup free winter school run days. I find it sinks in really quickly and doesn’t leave you all shiny. A firm fave.

Gatineau Collagen Expert Serum

Lookfantastic Box

I like products with collagen in. If they’re good, they’ll fill up any fine lines, and Gatineau only make good stuff! I want more of this!

Polaar Genuine Lapland Handcream

Lookfantastic Box

It feels a bit festive to have handcream from Lapland. Mrs Christmas herself probably uses it so stave off the winter flakiness that snow and cold weather bring. I suffer with eczema and this doesn’t irritate me which is good. It feels pleasant to apply and sinks in quickly (or my super dry hands suck it all up!)

And there you have it. The last box of the year is stuffed with fabulous thinks and available for a couple more days from Lookfantastic. I like that I get an Elle magazine each month and that I don’t pay postage for the box.

  1. Ahhhh wow I would be super excited to receive this box! Loving the bath bomb and the foam cleanser, well worth a try!

  2. Love the look of the Bath Bomb. Have just subscribed to a monthly Love Lula beauty box and am excited as it should arrive in the next day or so.

Love the Beauty in Wonderland bath bombe. I really like the idea of beauty not just being about looking a certain way but treating yourself well and creating a feeling, or experience for yourself, which a super lux bath obviously does!

  4. I am a massive fan of bath fizzers and regularly treat myself to them. I’m not a fan of matte lipstick though, I just don’t like the effect!

  5. Kathleen marsden

I’d particularly like to try Suki Exfoliate Foaming Cleanser and the MDMFLOW Matte Lipstick in Bossy. They look fab

  6. These Products look amazing, all though i do love my lipsticks a little too much but love the MDMFLOW Matte Lipstick in Bossy, in the description i can relate too very well that it made me laugh so much! :’)

  7. Kerry Kilmister

I absolutely love my bath bombs. Nothing more relaxing at the end of the day once my three kiddies are tucked up in bed.

  8. I would love to try the collegen serum and the lipstick which is a gorgeous shade. Not too in your face, just perfect. what a great selection.

  9. I love seeing what’s in beauty subscription boxes! These all look like lovely products, and I’m tempted to get some of the serum.

  10. Really great selection and good quality products! Especially like the look of they hand cream! One of my favourites! Thanks for the introduction

  11. I really need a good handcream at the moment. My hands look awful. I’ll give the Polaar Genuine Lapland Handcream a try

  12. I tried a well-known beauty subscription box for 3 months, and one of the items was a duplicate from a previous month, which I was not overjoyed about. Since then I’ve not bothered with them.

I have never really liked beauty boxes, as I have seen others get them for silly amounts of money and always been able to find most of the things you get for much cheaper online like ebay, but I do like the things you got in this one! The exfoliator especially looks nice. !
