Writing gift guides for women is my absolute fave because I’m a woman and I get to list a load of cool stuff I like! I also know that for some reason, even if a husband knows his wife really well, when Christmas comes he always draws a blank and Googles ‘What to buy your wife’. I like to think I might pop up in at least one man’s search and prevent him from buying something underwhelming like a mop (a regular one, not a steam one, I’d be thrilled with a steam mop).
Fabulous Gift Ideas for Her (AKA What to Buy Your Wife!)

The Reinvention of Martha Ross by Charlene Alcott RRP £7.99 (paperback)
This has been the only book of 2018 that I’ve not been able to put down. I really love it when a book stays with you so that you’re thinking about it all the time you’re not reading it. This usually happens to me because I read harrowing tales (after my mum banned me from reading ‘heartbreaking memoirs’), so when a book stays with you purely because it’s that good. Buy your wife this book (or your mum/sister/aunt/adult niece), she’ll thank you!
Grey Pom Pom Belly Basket RRP £25.00
If you’re living with an interiors enthusiast, then a key piece of storage like this pom pom belly basket won’t go amiss (love the name, don’t you?). I have a ‘soft office’ at home where I keep my knitting, unfinished magazines and general ‘gubbins’. A stylish storage basket would change my life. It’s both pretty and classy, and it’s useful for dumping your miscellaneous lounge necessities in. Buy from Rex London for £25.00.
Too Faced’s White Peach Palette RRP £33.00
If you don’t know much about buying makeup, this White Peach palette made by Too Faced is always a safe bet. It’s mid-end makeup brand that’s better than you’ll get in a normal drugstore, the colours are pretty neutral (meaning they’ll suit most skin tones), and the packaging is really pretty to look at (giving that wow-factor on Christmas morning. Buy from the Too Faced website to make sure it’s authentic (fake makeup exists out there and can be really damaging to skin and eyes).
Posh Chocolate from Venchi
I was sent a sample of this Venezuela Latte bar containing 47% cocoa earlier in the month, and I’ve never tasted anything like it. It was smooth and delicious without being overly rich (like some other posh chocolates can be). Make sure you buy lots because now it’s gone, I wish I had more!
P.S. You can also buy baubles.
Dipped Yellow Cup and Saucer RRP £14.00
Not all mugs mugs are created equal – and this one was created far superior to most. This hand-finished, high grade ceramic is super-cool to look at and holds the perfect cuppa. I know I’m not the only one who believes the mug plays a part in how good your drink taste – thin-rimmed mug always seems to make for the best cup of tea, doesn’t it? I love how stylish this mug is, it’s really insta-worthy and I love it. Buy from Root7.
New Range of Matcha Gift Teas
If the lady in your life is a matcha-lover, then you need to get her some luxury tea from Pure Leaf. Choose from Pure Matcha, Matcha with mint or Matcha with ginger, each tea in the range s hand-picked from tea gardens in Kagoshima. This Matcha offers a smooth taste-sensation favoured by British tea lovers.
PopaBall and Some Fizz
These funny little popping balls can be added to any drink (although I prefer my drink to be alcohilic). So far I’ve tried them in both G&T and prosecco and they have not disappointed. When the PopaBall balls pop in your mouth they release a sweet burst of flavour. Definitely pair them with fizz for a gift! Buy from Amazon.
Pamper Kits from Style & Grace
Christmas isn’t Christmas without stocking fillers to pamper yourself with! Style & Grace have got you covered. I received this gorgeous nail and hand kit and I love it. The nail varnish is really good quality and just glides on, leaving a lovely gloss finish.
They also do bath sets and so much more. Check out the pamper kit below too.
