When we heard we’d be getting a visitor from the Crate Creatures Surprise range, we were a little nervous. We’d heard they could be quite the mischievous handful, and we already had one of those in my son! I suppose it stands to reason that my son would have a real rapport with our feisty guest!
Crate Creatures Surprise
Our little friend arrived locked in a crate. He’d managed to poke his tongue through bars but sure wasn’t keen on Greg pulling it – he made all sorts of grumbling noises and his eyes flashed!
Obviously we were nervous about breaking out such a roguish little fuzzball out, especially since the crate was secured with a chain and a padlock!
Luckily, we noticed that the side of the crate contained a crowbar to help bust out our new mate. It released the padlock and helped us prise the lid off the crate and release Blizz.
What we thought of Blizz (Our Crate Creature)
It was great to finally meet Blizz once the crate was open, it turns out he’s a really friendly little guy!
He still grumbles and when you pull his tongue, but he looks like he’s smiling while he does it, so he probably likes it. If you press down on his tummy, he repeats what you say in his own voice, which has been great fun!
He’s got a great dress sense too, we love his spotty pants – he wears them well! He also brought his own ice lolly with him, which he enjoys sucking loudly!
Blizz and Greg get along like a house on fire. Blizz doesn’t mind a bit of rough and tumble, I can tell because he makes all sorts of sound when you play with him. He even seems to enjoy being thrown in the air and tipped upside down, which makes him a great companion for Greg.
All in all, Blizz has been a welcome addition to our family. He plays will with others and has great taste in spotty pants!
Crate Creatures Surprise are available from Smyths and other good toy stockists.
