Primary school aged children can be a challenge to buy for. They’re at peak excitement for Christmas, and into everything they’ve seen on TV. You want to get the balance between getting them something they’ll love, but not duplicating gifts.

Buying for your own primary-aged kids is a bit easier, they tell you what they want, and you tell family members not to buy one of what you’ve got. When they’re not your children, that’s when it’s a bit of a head scratcher.
