EyeWake Collagen Eye Gel – Review & where to get it

I was sent a bottle of EyeWake Collagen Eye Gel in return for an honest review.

I may have mentioned that I’m getting on a bit now. I’m hurtling towards the grand old age of 32, and cracks are beginning to show.  By cracks I mean those horrible little laughter lines people my age start to get in the corners of their eyes, as well as those circles underneath my eyes which are darker than the shadow on the moon.

Ideally I’d like to turn back time and have the bright eyes of my youth returned to me, but since that is sadly not possible (yet), I’ll settle for some non-surgical wonder cures.

Short of having my tear troughs pumped with fillers, I’m not aware of anything that will fix my under eyes completely, but there are products on the market which will help.

I gave the EyeWake collagen eye gel a fair try, because you can never tell after just one week, and sometimes things need to build up.

EyeWake Collagen Eye Gel Review

My first impression of the gel was that it wasn’t doing much. It felt cold and refreshing, which in turn made me look and feel a bit more awake. The dark circles were still there and I sort of felt like my fine lines were improving slightly, but they’re not deep so I would have expected them to disappear altogether if this was one of those fast-acting serums.

After about two and a half weeks of daily use, I really did notice a difference. If I put makeup on after applying the EyeWake collagen eye gel, I had no lines at all, where previously, if I used powder, it would settle in my little creases.

Pssst, you’ll love reading about this flower peel serum.

The dark circles improved enough to reassure me that the eye gel worked, but didn’t disappear completely. I want to make it clear that a decade of sleep and daily kale smoothies are probably the only cure for such dark chasms.

The eye gel itself is clear and much runnier than I expected. Usually under eye potions are thick to help ‘plump’ the area so the viscosity was a surprise, but it does the job. Now I’m in a routine, I wouldn’t be without it, it really helps me look like a very  slightly younger version of myself!
