I was recently lucky enough to be sent some goodies to try out from Cougar Beauty. I’d already seen some of their products on Instagram, and the Cougar Beauty lip plumping gloss is often discussed in the beauty groups I follow on Facebook.

I was eager to try to my new beauty treats which included some gorgeous Professor Herb skincare, as well as some dazzling lip treats.

Cougar Beauty Perfect Pout Lip Gloss
The Cougar Beauty Perfect Pout lip gloss has a reputation for giving you stunningly plump lips. It’s a clear gloss that contains some magic ingredients that help you lips appear fuller. It tingles when you apply it, but that’s how you know it’s working. After a few seconds you’ll have a beautiful pillowy pout that people won’t believe is your natural lips!
Here’s my before and after. I have quite full lips (or at least bottom lip), but the gloss really made difference.
Professor Herb Mandarin, Basil and Lime Day Cream
I love a day cream that sinks in quickly and doesn’t just sit on you skin. This mandarin, basil and lime day cream from Professor Herb does just that. It’s smooth and easy to apply, with a silky, almost gel-like, texture. It smells fresh and is a pleasure to use.
You skin drinks up the formula beautifully quickly, meaning you don’t have to wait around before doing your makeup. Great for busy mums like me, who have limited time but like to do a quick lick of makeup before they leave the house.
Natural Rose and Geranium Night Cream
This night cream is beautiful. The rose and geranium combined scent transports me back to the face creams and perfumes on my Nan’s dressing table. I used to twist off the lids and smell them all when I was a little girl. I’ve always been captivated by cosmetics.
This formula is slightly creamier than the day cream and takes a little longer to sink in. It feels rich and nourishing as you spread it on your skin and the next morning your skin feels super soft and hydrated.
This is the time of year my skin usually starts to suffer, but so far, it’s stayed hydrated!
Cougar Beauty 24hr Liquid Lipstick
I’m in love with liquid lipstick. My go to colour is always a red shade. When it comes to glamour, you really can’t beat red!
For me, liquid lipstick needs staying power. It’s no use if it’s wiped away after an hour or a quick sip of a drink. Cougar Beauty Liquid Lipstick ticks all the boxes. It’s not drying like some other brands can be, and it clings on for dear life. I even had a cup of tea and it didn’t budge!
As you can see, the liquid lipstick is easy to wear. It doesn’t look dry, and doesn’t bleed or crack – which again, can happen with some other brands. I love this shade, but the other colours in the range are getting added to my Christmas list because I’m trying to venture out of my red-lipped comfort zone!
All in all, I love my Cougar Beauty haul and will be returning to the site to buy a few more bits!
