Zerowater Review – Great Results with This 12 Cup Filter | AD

* AD – I was sent this water filter for the purpose of the Zerowater Review

I live in an area with very hard water. It can occasionally taste funny, and often causes limescale on our kettle. It can be a bit of a pain, especially when we don’t have a water filter.

Our water filter got damaged when we moved house, then we never replaced it. We got used to the taste of the water but the kettle scaled up quickly, we were really keen to replace our water filter and softener.

We recently replaced our kettle and realised it was probably time to replace our water filter too, which is why we were delighted when we were offered the change to try the Zerowater water filter.

Zerowater Review

Zerowater is a five-stage water filter that can hold up to 12 cups of liquid. It promises to deliver the purest tasting water in minutes, so we put it to the test!

What makes Zerowater special?

Zerowater filter and jug ready to assemble

The five-stage filtration system removes up to 99.6% of all total dissolved solids in drinking water. It’s so sure it can deliver, it even includes a free TDS reader (which stands for total dissolved solids) so you can check at home.

Total dissolved solids can refer to minerals, salts, chemicals, metals and runoff. The total dissolved solids reading should be low if you want to avoid any impurities.

How to use the Zerowater water filter

Assembly of the Zerowater water filter just is easy. Simply screw the filter into the top reservoir from underneath then fix into the jug.

Once you’ve fixed the jug together, fill the top reservoir with water and put the lid on to let the filter do its job.

It filters the water pretty quickly compare to other filters I’ve had and the end result is a ‘clean’ tasting glass of water. It also makes my cuppas taste better!

The acid test

Zerowater claims to get rid of 99.6% of TDS so I needed to see if that was true.

First I measured my regular tap water.

Measureing the tap water's TDS

The reading said 277, which is pretty bad when you think about it. I feel kind of icky that I’ve been drinking it with all those impurities!

Next I measure the filtered to water to compare the difference.

After Zerowater had filtered the water the TDS reading dropped to Zero
Zerowater TDS after filtration is zero

As you can see, the reading of the water that had been filtered by Zerowater now has a reading of 0! Amazing!

Overall Zerowater review

I’m incredibly impressed with how clean the water is after filtration and how quickly the filter works! I’d definitely recommend this filter to anyone who is looking to invest in a new one. You can buy yours from https://zerowater.co.uk/.
