Every year I find myself searching for unique Christmas gifts for men. My husband is so hard to buy for, and shopping for amazing gifts for him requires a lot of thinking outside the box.
Interesting gifts for men are often hard to come by, so I was really pleased to discover a whole range of unusual Christmas gifts for men. Interesting gifts for men are often hard to come by, so I was really pleased to discover a whole range of unusual Christmas gifts for men. For the discerning gentleman who enjoys life’s finer pleasures, a quality humidor for cigars makes an exceptionally thoughtful and sophisticated gift. One uncommon gift that would go down a treat for wrestling fans would be a personalised message from their favourite wrestler.

Accidental Hipster Dad possesses somewhat eclectic tastes; he doesn’t like chart music, he only half follows football, and doesn’t really play any sports (unless you count his annual squash game when his friend is up from London). These are all go-to man gifts, and if you can’t rely on these common gift themes, you need to seek out some uncommon gift ideas.
Luckily for me, Rob enjoys the odd tipple, so I can buy him some alcohol-related stocking fillers like the products above. If I’m honest, I can’t see any reason that he’s need a hip flask, but I don’t know anyone in the world that doesn’t want one. I also think any cool accessories that you wouldn’t necessarily buy for yourself are always greatly received as gifts.
Speaking of alcohol-related gifts, these scotch whiskey gift baskets are perfect for guys who like their alcohol smoky and intense. The gift baskets are customizable, so you can choose the brands that your partner likes and include samplers of different brands, cigars, snacks, and personalized alcohol-related merchandise for a complete set.

We’re living in a time now where men have more opportunity to get into stuff. With social media at everyone’s fingertips, there’s much inspiration out there for hobbies and interests. Dads especially are so much cooler now than there were when I was younger, and cool dads deserve cool gifts for dads. I quite like the above plaque that reads ‘I’m not bossy, I am the boss.’
Aren’t all dads the boss really?

If your search for uncommon Christmas gifts leads you to UncommonGoods then there’s some really cool stuff you need to know about the brand.
They sell unique gifts, half of which are made by hand, which are created in harmony with the environment (without causing harm to animals or people). In fact, they are known for the ethical treatment of their staff and the lowest rate they pay their seasonal workers is 50% higher than minimum wage. If only all organisations could be so generous!
Another point to note is that for every purchase you make, $1 is donated to the non-profit of your choice. This means you can shop and help people, how amazing is that?!

I think my dad would rather have a teddy bear or a nice mug tbh, but I totally get that it’s often hard to get stuff for blokes (about as hard as it is to get stuff for women, I guess!) #RVHT

I always like to wrap up a surprise unusual gift for my husband. I bought him a mushroom brush and knife last year because he loves foraging for wild mushrooms in our local woods.
They seem to err towards the tasteful which is not always the case for these type of companies and it is great to see they look after their workers too. I particularly liked the On the Rocks set which would be lovely for those who like a wee dram of the hard stuff.
