TYMO Airhype Lite Hairdryer Review

I love reviewing beauty products so when I was given the chance to write this TYMO Airhype Lite hairdryer review, I was very excited. I was already in the market for a new hairdryer as my old faithful overheated and broke, and I bought a very cheap (quite rubbish) one to tide me over while I did my research to choose something proper.

I’d already seen TYMO products create quite a buzz on TikTok, so they were on my radar before they reached out. I’d seen the Airhype had the reputation for drying your hair quickly and without frizz so I was very keen to get my hands on it.

TYMO Airhype Lite Hairdyer Review: What’s in the Box

The Airhype Lite arrives in a well-packaged and compact box. I was surprised about how sturdy and solid the hairdryer feels considering its size. In my box I got the attachment for blowdrying your hair straight and smooth, which I think is standard. You can also purchase the matching Airhype diffuser and the Airhype comb attachment separately.

You also get some instructions that contain to use the hairdryer, although it’s pretty straightforward.

What’s Good About the Airhype Lite?

Airhype lite review

I’ve got plenty of great things to say about this hairdryer. The biggest thing for me is that the attachments fit into a groove and are magnetic. It’s such a game-changer to have this bit magnetised.

I can’t tell you how many hairdryers have frustrated me over the years because I caught the attachment with my brush while I’m blow-drying and it just pinged off. Worse still, is when the attachment pings off and becomes cracked so it never fits on the end of your hairdryer again. With the Airhype Lite, this isn’t even an issue.

The attachment fits into a groove at the end of the hairdryer and click into place, but the magnet is the real MVP here. It changes everything and makes drying my hair so much better.

How to Use the Airhype Lite Hairdryer

Airhype settings

The Airhype Lite has 3 speed settings and 3 heat settings, as well as a cool blast setting too. It’s very simple to get the hang of and feels very powerful, even on the lowest speed setting.

I found it sped up my hairdrying time by quite a lot. I have very thick hair and long, thick hair extensions too (when you have thick hair, you need lots of extensions to help them blend in, so I’m dealing with quite a lot of hair). The nozzle at the end really seems to help with a smoothing finish.

With other hairdryers, I often find my natural hair dries fluffier and bigger than my extensions, but that wasn’t the case with the Airhype lite. Instead, it helped everything dry smooth and look a similar texture. I always like to style after a blowdry, but I could get away with just leaving it after using the Airhype Lite and it still looks good.

Airhype Lite Review – Final Thoughts

I love this hairdryer. It’s the best hairdryer I’ve tried, hands down. The Airhype Lite is really well made and the high quality is evident the minute you get it out of the box. I would recommend this hairdryer to everyone, especially those with thick hair, or lots of hair (like me). I’ve honestly been telling everyone I know about this hairdryer and it’s well worth getting if you’re in the market for a hairdryer.
