Christmas is the time for giving, and for putting a smile on the face of those you love and appreciate. If the past couple of years has shown us anything, it’s that we need to cherish the moment, and show those around us how much they mean to us.
This year should be a little different to last – for starters we can celebrate with our loved ones in person (many of us weren’t able to last year). In my eyes, that makes this Christmas extra special, and as a result, I want to make this year extra special for my mum.
Last year my mum couldn’t come to us for Christmas, so we didn’t get to see her. She didn’t get to see the kids open their Christmas presents, and we didn’t get to see her open what we’d got her. When I was challenged to put together the ultimate bag of joy for someone special, I knew it had to be for my mum.

As I’ve mentioned, I want to make Christmas extra special for my mum this year. A video chat on Christmas Day doesn’t give quite the same feeling as spending the day together. After all, you can’t send hugs through a screen.

The bag contains a mix of products that either help energise, unwind, sleep, or just enjoy treating yourself to a pamper.

It’s easy to see why Liz Earle products have an amazing reputation, they leave your skin feeling soft and looking radiant. I’ve chosen this for my mum because it’s the sort of gift anyone would be lucky to have!

This was kind of a cheeky choice, as although I know my mum likes the brand, they do tend to have some audaciously punny names! We both swear by the eyebrow pencil, and I know the lip gloss is her colour too, everything else is just a bonus. This set is great value for money, and coming in under £20, would make a fabulous Secret Santa gift for anyone glam and fun with a sense of humour.
As all these gifts are for my mum, they definitely have a feminine edge. If your special person is your dad, brother, or any man, then you might get some inspiration from these Christmas Gifts for Him.
