When the kids are off, it can be difficult to keep them entertained. Every parent’s worst fear is to hear the bleat of boredom when they’ve done everything you’ve suggested. You wouldn’t be alone if you spend most of your time trying to think of ways to keep them away from screens too.
The battle for me as a parent involves trying to entertain the kids away from games consoles and tablets. It’s hard because digital entertainment does give me a bit of peace and quiet, but I’m conscious that I want them to use their imaginations and play with a variety of toys.
If the weather is nice, I always try and get them playing outside in the fresh air, if the weather isn’t so good, I just want to keep them busy. That’s why I like buying clothes that can be used inside or out.
