We were really excited to review OrangutwTwang as we’d seen the adverts on the TV and knew exactly how much fun it was going to be! Greg has had his eye on this game since the adverts started appearing between his favourite shows on TV. We couldn’t wait to get stuck in!
OranguTwang Review
The game arrives in a box and has some elements that you need to put together. Greg insisted he put it together, and to be fair, he did it with ease! Assembly is quick and simple and even little kids can do it!
How to Play OranguTwang
OranguTwang is a table top game that needs 2 or more players. The concept is simple, roll the dice then hang that item on your OranguTwang and when the load is too much – he’ll TWAAAAANG!
The box says OranguTwang is suitable for ages 4+, but I’m in my 30’s and I love it. I even caught my husband having a go on his own when the kids were in bed!
To start the game, hang the orangutan on the vine and slide the toucan to the top (making the vine slack). Attach the items anywhere on the orangutan until the vine tightens and the orang goes twang! No batteries required!
The family love playing OranguTwang
Greg was an immediate fan (even before we got it out the box, but more so once he got a taste of danger). The rest of us love it too, even Emma who is sometimes too cool to like the same things as her brother.
As you can imagine, Greg takes it very seriously and concentrates incredibly hard as he hangs his fruit.
An ultra competitive Emma also partakes with the precision of a top brain surgeon.
And when the orangutan twangs, squeals of delight let loose while the kids scrabble around to grab all the pieces ready to play again!

Loads of good toy shops stock this suspenseful table top including Smyths Toys Superstore. RRP is £19.99 but you might get it for slightly cheaper depending on offers and whether you’re a savvy shopper!
