Our family loves baking, so we were really excited to receive Nadiya’s Deluxe Baking Set for the purpose of this review. Greg will soon be six and has been a keen baker since he was a tot, so when the baking set arrived, he was keen to get stuck in.

Nadiya’s Deluxe Baking Set review – What’s in the box?
Nadiya’s Deluxe Baking Set is a pretty comprehensive baking set – one of the best I’ve seen for kids. You only really need the ingredients!
The set contains:
- A mixing bowl
- 6 recipes
- 5 measuring spoons
- 12 silicone cake cases
- 3 cookie cutters
- A sieve
- A spatula
- A whisk
- A rolling pin
- Unisex apron
The hat in the pictures was not included, it’s a hat we bought ages ago from Amazon.
Baking with Nadiya’s Deluxe Baking Set
I think the baking set is fantastic. It has everything you might need for baking simple and intermediate treats with kids. The recipes included are simple enough to bake with children but add complex elements for slightly more advanced bakers. As the supervising adult, I rather liked the extra ingredients and other elements to the recipes.
All of the utensils feel sturdy and like something I’d use myself as an adult for baking. The only difference is that they have been made in fun colours. The utensils are easy to use and fine for small hands to navigate.
What we baked
Eager to try out the new baking set, we got to work straight away. Greg was very excited so we went for one of the more simple recipes which was the pastry roses with fruit. we followed the recipe to the letter and ended up with some super tasty fruity bakes. They went down a treat and we’re making them again this weekend.
Greg was also delighted with the result!
After that, we had a go at our own recipe creation and made a few jammy biscuits that tasted phone but weren’t all that photogenic!
