Charlie the cheeky monkey loves to eat, drink and swing from branches. His favourite food is coconuts and he loves it when he’s fed while he swings from his branch. The only problem is, he isn’t toilet trained!
Luckily Charlie is happy in his nappy. The trouble is, nappies can be a little unreliable, and once they get too full, they burst and the poo pops out. Whoever gets Charlie to burst his nappy wins the game.
What’s in the box?
The box contains Charlie, his legs, some coconuts, a bowl, a spoon, a branch, a tray to catch the poo and some nappies. The nappies can’t be re-used, but you can order more to keep the fun (and the poos) rolling).
How to play Munchin’ Monkey Game
Playing the game is really simple to grasp and suitable for kids aged four and up. It allows for 2-4 players, making it a fab table top family game.
Set up the branch for Charlie to hang on first, clipping it to the base that will later catch the winning poo. Next, put Charlie’s nappy in his legs then carefully attach it to his body before hanging him on his branch. You must avoid ripping the nappy, or the game won’t work if the coconuts/poos come out straight away. Finally, fill the bowl with water up to the line and pop the coconuts in.
Once the setup is complete, you’re ready to play!
The player whose turn it is must roll the die, and what they get depends on what they need to do to Charlie.
Roll a coconut, and you have to feed Charlie a coconut. Roll a water droplet, and you need to give him a drink. If you get the arrow, it’s time to give him a gentle push and help him swing on his branch.
When the nappy breaks and the poo comes out, the person who made it happen is crowned the winner!
What We Thought of Munchin’ Monkey
Munchin’ Monkey is heaps of fun! It’s a fun and different concept that hasn’t been done before and it makes the game full of suspense. I never thought I’d be wishing for a split nappy!
The kids love it, even the big one and I’m a fan too. A great family game that parents, grandparents and kids will all enjoy. Well worth adding to your games collection.
