Muscle pain can strike anyone at any time While athletes are no stranger to muscles aches, even those of us who are a little less active can suffer from tight, sore muscles.
I’m one of those less-active people who suffers. Like anyone who leads a semi-sedentary lifestyle, I’m trying increase my activity level. Sadly, this comes at the price of aches and pains.
Basically, anyone who uses their muscles for anything at all, will suffer with some pain at some point. The ExoGun DreamPro is a great way to heal muscle pain without painkillers. It works by using percussion therapy, which is a type of tissue massage that works on a series of pulsations.

How To Use the ExoGun DreamPro
I’ve found the ExoGun DreamPro incredibly easy to use. When the ExoGun first arrives, it needs charging for six hours. After that, when you turn it on, it displays a number for battery charge and another number that denotes the intensity setting. I made a quick video which you can view below:
The plug that comes with the ExoGun DreamPro is two-pronged, this means if you’re in the UK (like me) you’ll need an adapter. I already owned a couple as electric razors and toothbrushes also tend to have this type of plug. If you don’t already have one, they’re cheap enough from places like Wilko tend to stock them.
To switch on on, you hold down the power symbol on the touch screen. Then once you’ve chosen the massage head you’d like to use, press the power symbol again and the ExoGun will begin to pulsate. To increase these setting press the power symbol and the number on the left will climb, with the highest setting being 6. Press and hold the power to turn the gun off again.
The Different ExoGun DreamPro Massage Heads
The ExoGun massager comes with four different massage heads. Each on has its own function. There’s a bullet-shaped one for a more precise massage.
My preferred massage head is the large ball. I use this on my neck the most and it’s incredibly effective and soothing.
The flat, bobbly head is is great for a different type of massage, and is often favoured on the glutes and pecs.
The fork-shaped massage head is great for tissue massage either side of the spine. You want to miss bone when doing these types of massage, so the two-pronged head is perfect for this.
