Another fun and interactive gender reveal comes in the form of a pinata. This may be a great idea if you already have kids and you are welcoming another into the world, as we all know kids love pinatas! Alternatively, if you’re a bit of a big kid yourself, then step up and take a swing.

Room decorations
If you are in the fortunate position that you can afford to spend more on your gender reveal, a slightly different but nonetheless heartwarming gender reveal can be decorating the baby’s room beforehand. To do so, the parents will give somebody the job to decorate what will be the baby’s nursery/bedroom, and the reveal is done as you enter the room at the given time!
This of course takes a lot more time and planning but is a beautiful way to discover what gender your baby will be.
Paint filled water gun
