I’m not one to shy away from period talk. That’s why I jumped at the chance to review some Daye CBD tampons.
I think period talk is really important, because people still shy away from it. The truth is, it needs to be talked about.
People who bleed need to know what’s normal. They need to know if what they’re dealing with is the same as everyone else. If they have worse cramps, or other symptoms, there needs to be discussion around what has helped others.
I’ve always been very up front about the struggles I’ve had with my periods. My periods are painful and heavy, so I was very interested to try these CBD tampons.
Daye CBD Tampons Review

Daye tampons are available in both CBD and nude (no CBD), so if you’re not so sure if CBD tampons are for you, you don’t have to miss out on a great brand.
I also received some pads to try too.
A Little Bit About Daye
Daye have created products that are backed by science. They aim to raise standards in gynae health and offer sustainable period products through transformative period care.
These tampons are 100% plastic-free, more absorbent than leading brands, and have a flushable wrapper and applicator.
Daye CBD Tampons Put to the Test

I received a mix of regular, super and super CBD tampons to try out. They arrived in a letterbox sized cardboard box, which is great because it’s fully recyclable. Plus, you don’t have to be home to receive it.
There’s also a handy cloth bag in the box so you can take your tampons out with you.
When I opened the tampon wrapper I was taken aback because the applicator looks like it’s made of plastic. It turns out, it’s made of sugarcane, which is both sustainable, compostable, and safe to flush.
I tried the CBD tampons first because I was intrigued. It turns out, they’re really good. I didn’t notice my usual cramps while I was using the CBD tampons.
They’re easy to insert, comfortable to wear and I didn’t leak when I was using them.
Are Daye CBD Tampons Any Good for Heavy Periods?

I experience heavy periods. I’m someone who tends to flood and often wake up having leaked.
The period I tried these on was a normal amount of heavy. By that, I mean I wasn’t constantly experiencing flooding but it was heavy a flow that needed super protection.
The tampons were absolutely fine, but I only kept them in for 3 hours at a time. I don’t like to wear my tampons too long, so that’s a normal length for me.
The super tampons are absolutely fine for heavy periods in my opinion.
Other Products Daye Makes

Along with the tampons, I also received some pads to try. These were also really comfortable to wear. They didn’t slip, lift or leak, which is exactly what you want from a pad.
Daye also make Proviotics, which aid your microbiome, and a microbiome testing kit. You can also get your hands on some CBD balm which can be great for aching muscles and PMS bellies.
