Coolscuplting has been on my mind, and this is what I’ve learned

Fat freezing, also known as Coolsculpting is the hottest (or more accurately coldest) non-surgical treatment going. In the run up to my wedding, I looked into it extensively because I was hoping to shed a couple of inches off my waist before the big day.

The biggest question in my mind was how much weight can I lose with Coolscultping? I wanted numbers and figures, but realistically there is no ‘one size fits all’ answer. I know that it works, I’ve seen before and after photos online and couple of my friends have had it done and were really impressed with results.

If you’re anything like me, there will be a core set of questions you’ll want answering about the Coolsculpting treatments.

What is Coolsculpting?

Coolscultping is a fat freezing treatment that kills fat cells with low temperatures. It’s a non-invasive treatment, which in my opinion, is what makes it so popular. Fat cells are targeted then cooled, which causes them to break down and reduces the fat in that area. With Coolsculpting, you are able to spot reduce, which doesn’t usually work with diet-based weight loss methods.

Is Coolsculpting likely to hurt?

My friends told me it didn’t hurt. It doesn’t involve surgery and there are no needles, so although the sensation might feel a little uncomfortable at first, you shouldn’t experience any pain. This is why it’s so good for squeamish people like me!

What areas of my body can I have a Coolsculpting treatment on?

When I was looking into having my tummy done, I discovered you can also have the treatment on your thighs, your double chin, tummy (obviousy), back, and under your bum. So almost anywhere!

Do I have to rest?

In short: nope! Because it’s non-surgical, there is virtually no downtime, so you can carry on about your day as you normally would!

I didn’t get it done before my wedding, because I’d left everything a bit late and ran out of money. I would like to try Coolsculpting though, and I’m considering having it done after Christmas when I don’t have any more toys to buy.

There are a lot of Coolsculpting clinics about, so make sure you do your research. Check out their social media to ses results, or ask among your friends to see id they can recommend somewhere. My friends are dotted around the country so I don’t think any two have been to the same clinic!
