The smallest room in the house can often be the most difficult to decorate. Usually the smallest bedroom goes to youngest child when there is a family living the house, which can make space even more of an issue. In my experience, the smallest child usually comes with the most stuff!

Choosing the right curtains for a small bedroom
I’m always a fan of keeping curtains simple if the walls are patterned, and choosing patterned curtains when the walls are plan. My son is in the smallest bedroom in our house and we keep very little in it. He just has a bed, some shelves mounted on the wall and a chest of drawers for his clothes. At his window we have some cream coloured blackout curtains, and his bedding is currently tractor based, but the beauty of neutral curtains means I can swap the bedding as soon as he wants something more grown up.
