In my thirty years on this planet, I have come to distrust anything that is a quick fix or a miracle cure. If it seems too good to be true, it often is. That’s why I was pleasantly surprised discover a little hack that cheats away your roots until you can get to your hairdresser.
I’m talking about EVERPRObeauty’s amazing creation, BACK2BLONDE. It comes in a spray and powder form and I found both to be excellent when used on targeted areas.

About my hair
It’s important for you to understand how my hair is. It’s large, it’s long, it’s very thick and there’s lots of it. It does what it wants, when it wants and it does not play ball. I’ve been disappointed by sprays like this in the past. Often concealing products are great, just not for people with hair like mine.
My natural hair colour is mousy, but when the roots grow out next to the bleached areas of hair, it tends to look darker. Roots make my hair look dull and lacklustre so I try to get highlights every 4-6 weeks (which is a killer, but dark hair makes me look like a zombie so I don’t really have a choice).
BACK2BLONDE review – the spray

Full disclosure, I was sent the spray and the powder as complimentary samples (this has not affected my views though, I would never back something that was useless.)
The instructions are easy to follow. I usually try and use dry shampoo to do this job, dry shampoo is a poor substitute, but use of the spray it the same. Just spray where you want it and leave to dry. I sectioned my hair off because I have a lot.
I bet you’d love to see some results right?

As you can see, this root situation is quite bad. In actual fact, I received the products a few weeks ago but I wanted to grow my roots out to test it properly.

I think the ‘after’ looks like I’ve just had my hair done. It felt a bit like some sort of wizardry!
BACK2BLONDE review – the powder

I used the powder for a more precision area because it comes with a little powder puff and I thought the spray would be quicker to use for a large area like my parting. I decided to try and make my silly little sideburns look better. They always look dark really quickly because they’re a bit fluffy and pathetic.

My sideburns are ridiculous. All my underneath hair is fluffy and oddly curly. It’s very strange because it’s a completely different texture. Anyway, I digress. Here’s the after:

Great results right? I keep telling all my blonde friends about it. I even made an Instagram story about it because it’s just so good! I’ve noticed they also do one for dark hair, I can’t vouch for it but if it’s anything like the blonde spray and powder, it’s totally worth it!

Wow – the difference is amazing! This stuff looks great x
