Mother’s Day provides the perfect opportunity to show your mum just how special she is to you. I love celebrating it, both with my own mum and as a mum. This year, Mother’s Day is on Sunday 30th March 2025.
As for gift-giving, I think it can be quite hard to choose the perfect gift. Especially if you’re too old to just hand over a collage or jewellery made out of pasta.
Luckily, I’m pretty organised so I’ve been scoping out some good gift suggestions for a little while now. Below are some of my top choices for Mother’s Day gifts this year.
A Pair of Luxury PJs

As a mother myself, I can confirm there is nothing a mum loves more than PJs and luxury items. So luxury PJs make so much sense as a special Mother’s Day treat.
These fancy long sleeve pyjamas are made by Identity Lingerie. They come in a beautiful silky pouch, which I think really adds to the presentation.

The PJs themselves are made of a soft 100% cotton muslin material, which is extra comfy and helps avoid overhearing during the night.

I just love everything about these PJs and think they make a perfect gift for any mum (including me). Identity Lingerie specialises in luxury nightwear and lingerie, so if you fancied treating yourself to something with an extra bit of va-va-voom, you could go for something a bit racy like this see through robe.
The Chocolicious Hamper

For the chocolate-loving mums, there’s no better gift than a chocolate based hamper. A selection of chocolatey treats are bound to go down well, and I recommend this The Chocolicious Hamper from Boutique Gifts. You can personalise this hamper by adding a message to your mum when you order.

Here’s what’s inside:
- Filbert’s Chocolate Orange Nut Mix 75g
- Guppy’s Honeycomb Shards 45g
- Mighty Fine Salted Caramel Chocolate Honeycomb Bar 30g
- Monty Bojangles Caramel & Cookie Truffle Bites 100g
- Ultimate English Chocolate Brownie Fudge 150g
- Elizabeth Shaw Dark Chocolate Orange Biscuits 140g
Warmies Hugging Llamas

These hugging llamas from Warmies are the cutest little gift for anyone who loves the cosy life. A great alternative to a hot water bottle, these can be heated in the microwave over and over again for a warming hug. They’re weighted, scented and oh so cuddly, which makes them a perfect cosy gift.
New Pens

Mums love stationery. I don’t know the exact reason, but if you present the mum in your life with some cool pens, she’ll be delighted!
I’m not just biased because I love a good pen, I can confirm every mum I’ve ever met would be impressed with a Stabilo haul on Mother’s Day.
I like to make pretty lists and I’m also a doodler, but even if you mum doesn’t do any of these things, she’ll be pleased with some pretty pens and immediately find a use for them.
A Prezzee e-Gift Card

Not sure what to get your mum? Unlikely to see her on the big day, but keen to show you care? Need to send a last minute Mother’s Day gift? Send her a Prezzee e-gift card.
These handy gift cards are available in values from £5-£500 and can redeemed at over 200 leisure, hospitality or retail outlets. This allows your mum to choose exactly what she wants from exactly where she wants it and you don’t need to worry about a gift getting lost in the post.
The gift card arrives via text or email, and you can even change the way it looks and send your own message to give it an extra personal touch. So whether you mum chooses to treat herself to treat herself to a special dinner, or a new frock from M&S, you can be happy in the knowledge you got her exactly what she wanted.
An Oodie

I’m a big fan of an Oodie and I haven’t met a single person who isn’t in love with theirs (and constantly adding to the collection).
Honestly, an Oodie is such a gorgeous thing to own. It’s comfy, it’s cosy, it keeps you warm (and let’s you save money on heating). It just feels like a hug every time you wear one. Plus you can kind of get away with wearing one on a work video chat because you’re not technically wearing a blanket, even though it might feel that way.

Some Luxury Bathing Items

It might seem like a cliche that mums just love a soak in the bath, but you’ve got to remember – things become cliches for a reason! I absolutely adore a luxury bath. It’s a little bit of ‘me time’ where I can unwind and take time to care for my skin and hair. Anything with essential oils in like the bathing salts (pictured above) from Edinburgh Skincare relaxes me and leaves me feeling refreshed and ready to face the world.
Treat your mum to some luxury soap and bath salts to help her up her self-care game this Mother’s Day.
A Mayalu Diamond Roll on Bracelet

If your mum is into keeping it trendy, she’ll love this Mayalu Diamond roll on bracelet priced at only £6.00. It was crafted in Nepal by the brand Sherpa – a company committed to helping the local communities. So you can present your mum with a lovely gift, knowing that you’ve not only given your mum a gift but you’ve also gifted a day of education to a Nepalese child.
