The Rampage R1 2023 Complete Stunt Scooter is the must-have stunt scooter for 2023. All the kids in my son’s class want one, and we’ve been lucky enough to try one out!
It arrived boxed via courier and was easy enough to lift into the house myself. Arriving in a box did mean I had to assemble it, but I feel like event he least handy people out there would be able to manage it.
Kids scooters are hard enough to choose as it is, so I thought I’d put my thoughts out there on one that we’ve tried and tested!
Rampage R1 2023 Complete Stunt Scooter Specs
The Rampage R1 2023 Complete Stunt Scooter looks pretty special on paper. It comes in two shades, neochrome/black and black/neochrome. We opted for the neochrome/black version which has the striking neochrome accents very visible on the scooter.

These are the specifications and dimensions:
- Deck: 110mm x 495mm Lightweight Alloy w/rear Inserts (Mini)
- Brake: Composite Rear Brake (Compatible with Up to 120mm Wheels)
- Fork: Threadless IHC Fork (Compatible with Up to 120mm Wheels)
- Clamp: Double Collar (2-Bolt)
- Bars: 580mm (H) x 540mm (W) Hi-Ten Steel Gusseted Y-Bar

- Wheels: 110mm PC Core w/ High Rebound PU Tyres
- Bearings: ABEC 7
- Recommended Age: 7-12 Years
- Max Rider Weight: 80kg
Dimensions
- Total Height: 820mm
- Total Weight: 3.6kg
The age range is recommended at ages 7-12 and I can report it’s the ideal size for my bigger than average 8-year-old. I also think it would be a good fit past age 12 too, providing your child isn’t hugely bigger than average.
Assembling the Rampage R1 2023 Complete Stunt Scooter

The scooter comes split into two parts, the handle bars and the deck. There is a little bit of tightening and loosening bolts involved, but nothing too taxing.
It’s important to make sure everything is lined up straight, so the scooter glides along in a straight line. If you’re getting this as a gift, I’d recommend assembling it the night before whatever celebration you’re giving it for.
It’s not that it’s difficult to put together, but you probably want to do it out of the way of an excited child.

The box also contains extra bearings and some stickers to decorate the scooter with so your child can really make it their own.
Rampage R1 2023 Complete Stunt Scooter Review

I’m sure if you can see the picture above, you’ll spot that this scooter really looks the part. It’s an entry level stunt scooter with some pretty cool looking parts.
The neochrome pops, as does the writing near the back wheel. If you’re looking to buy a gift with a wow factor, you’ll not be disappointed by this beauty.

In fact, the front wheel with the neochrome above also looks incredibly cool. Just look at that shine!

The scooter itself has a nice smooth glide to it, and has been a real hit with my son. We’re going to take it to the local skate park this half term too, to put it through its paces! So far it hits the streets like a dream.
If you’re considering getting your own child this scooter, then I say go ahead! I recommend it and my son is besotted, so I can only offer a glowing reference. The box it arrives in is easy enough to hide from nosey little eyes if you’re getting it for a special gift, and assembly is quick and easy too.
All in all, this is a great stunt scooter and is bound to be gratefully received.
