Creating the perfect family home isn’t easy. After all, if there are two things that don’t go together are children and expensive decor. Country Modern
This style is a beautiful fusion of the old and the new. The style mixes different elements from a range of looks including the farmhouse, industrial, traditional and vintage.
Art Deco
Art Deco is a style that has screamed pure luxury for over 100 years. The archetypal art deco shapes work beautifully with a contrasting pallet of bold colours. This type of design hinges on beautiful accessories and decorative features, so choose them with care.
This type of design can be overwhelming for an entire home, especially if you’re not living in an art deco period building, but you can still bring that 20s glamour by choosing one of two rooms in your home to decorate in this way. A perfectly done art deco bedroom would make an amazing space away from the kids and the stresses of everyday life.
Contemporary
Bring your home right up to date with a contemporary look. Not to be confused with ‘modern’ which is a design style in itself. Contemporary is less about a particular look and all about materials and finishes that are up to date and popular right now. Anything goes with the contemporary look, which is great for those who don’t like to be constrained but does mean that there a lot more choices to be made in terms of the look and feel of your home. If you don’t have an eye for interior design, you could end up with something that you’re not happy with.
