4 Boys Party Ideas You Can Do From Home

Spa Party

Pampering is definitely not just for the girls! Boys could easily enjoy a pamper session too. And you can easily give it more of a boy theme. Ask them to come in their pajamas or maybe their favourite dressing gowns or onesies. You can have stations around the house for facials and foot-soaks and perhaps even some fun temporary tattoos. You could also have a demonstration of shaving. You could then get them to put some shaving foam on their faces, and using a wooden ice-lolly stick, they can have a go at ‘shaving’ it off.

Detective party

A detective or spy party could be a fantastic, memorable party. You can ask them to come dressed like detectives or provide props like magnifying glasses and perhaps a toy monocle or stick on mustaches as they arrive. After this, you can run a series of puzzles they have to solve. One classic could be getting them to feel what various items are covered by a towel or in a box with a hole cut in it for them to fit their hands through. You could use eggs or baked beans or even just have some soapy water on hand! You could then run a scavenger hunt where they have clues to find the hidden treasure.

Other activity ideas include creating an area using a red ribbon to symbolize laser beams and have them climb through to get something. Or playing the ‘two truths and a lie’ game where children have to come up with three scenarios, and everyone else has to use their detective skills to discover which is the lie. Additionally, playing a game where they have to ‘diffuse bombs,’ fill up some balloons with red confetti, and have them burst them all.

There really are lots of creative things to do with this theme!

Magic show

Why hire a magician when you can become the magicians! Using some funky material, you can drape them all in magician’s capes and could even get them to create or decorate their own wands and hats. You can then teach them some simple magic tricks. They will love showing these off to their parents, so you could have a magic show at the end of the day. Pizza and gaming sleepover

Who doesn’t love pizza and games? But to make this party a little different, you can help the children to make their own pizzas. You could use pre-made pizza bases, or even bagels or tortillas as the bases and have all of the toppings available to the children can design it themselves! They can then play video games and eat their own pizza. A simple sounding party but it’s sure to be a favorite.
