Having children in my early twenties meant that I never really had chance to have proper holidays abroad as an adult. As much as I’d liked to go on a singles cruise holiday before having a family, I don’t feel I’ve missed out too much once I realised I could cruise with my kids.
3 Cruises I’d Love to Take My Family On
A family cruise means I’d still get the sun and beautiful scenery, but I’d get to enjoy it with my husband and kids, which is totally priceless. These are the top 3 cruises I’d love to take my family on.
An honourable mention should go to a Mediterranean cruise, as I’d be very keen to book one soon.
Greek Isles from Venice

Venice is a beautiful city that I’d love my family to see. It’s the perfect place to start a cruise, and it’s made even better by the fact your next destination would be the Greek Isles!
On board there are kids clubs/youth programmes, freestyle dining (ie when and where you like – heaven!), aqua parks, sports facilities and entertainment every night! Doesn’t it sound perfect?
Greek Isles & Italy from Rome

Rome is the home of some of the most iconic scenery and architecture in the world. Architecture that I’d love to see in my lifetime.
My daughter is a history-lover who would go mad for a close-up look at the Colosseum. The cruise goes on to stop at places with equally famous histories such as Athens, Naples and Florence. This is the perfect cruise to drink in the sights and encourage my children to have a lifelong interest in a life that was before our time.
French Riviera & Dalmation Coast

Visiting the French Riviera would be a dream come true for me. Home to beautiful beaches and glamorous beach resorts. The French Riviera is where luxury lives and I’d love to visit there once in my life.
A cruise to the French Riviera sounds amazing, aside from the beautiful location, the ships sounds pretty glorious too! With circus shows on board as well as Broadway-style shows, comedy shows and magic, there’s as much to do on the ship as there is when you’re exploring!
