Glossybox is a fantastic subscription service that I absolutely adore (you’ll know this if you’ve been following me for a while). I often share the contents of my Glossybox and I love to stalk Instagram to see what everybody else got in theirs.
I’m celebrating this month, as I’ve been announced as a beauty and fashion finalist in the Brilliance in Blogging awards. To celebrate, I’ve teamed up with the folks at Glossybox to give my lovely readers a chance to win the June box!
The June Glossybox isn’t on sale any more, so if you choose to sign-up for your own Glossybox subscription this month, there’s no chance of duplication. In fact, if you do choose to sign up, you can have your first box for half price! Just go to the Glossybox homepage and type in HIPSTERMUM in the coupon section. That code is exclusive to my blog, follow the link to get your savings!
We know that every Glossybox is a little bit different, so I can’t guarantee the exact contents of yours, but I can show you what I received in mine.
My June Glossybox contained
The Noughty Intensive Care Leave-in Conditioner smells amazing. It has no hidden nasties in, no parabens and is completely vegan. I gave it a good try as soon as I received it and it made my hair lovely and smooth. I even started wearing my hair straight again! RRP £6.99
I’m always looking for a great eye gel, and the 111 Skin Space Defence Bright Eye Lift Gel certainly fits the bill. It plumps, cools and smoothes the skin and provides a flawless base for foundation and concealer. A full size one of these would set you back £110 but I can assure you it’s worth it (even if I can’t afford it myself!).
We all know I love Sleek Make-Up, and the Power Plump Lip Crayon in Colossal Coral doesn’t disappoint. The texture is smooth for application and the colour is vibrant. Perfect for summer! RRP £5.50
Complete your summer look with this swoonsome glowing illuminator from Manna Kadar Cosmetics. I apply to my cheekbones and along my brow line. I adore an awesome glow!
I had no idea Batiste did anything other than dry shampoo, so I was pleasantly surprised to open my June Glossybox to find this full-sized bottle of Batiste Stylist Hydrating Oil (RRP £4.49). In true Batiste style it smells amazing. It comes out in a fine must and makes your hair shimmer and shine. As someone who uses bleach on their hair, I’m always looking a bit on the dry side in the summer. This hydrating oil makes sure my hair is moisturised and glossy; the oil even locks the moisture in. Hair heaven!
Who doesn’t love a black mask? I know, I’m gross aren’t I? There is nothing more satisfying than unblocking your pores with one of these badboys! The instructions recommend you apply it to your whole face, but trust me: DO NOT! It hurts, and it basically waxes your face! Apply to forehead, nose and chin (AKA T-zone) and leave to dry for AT LEAST 20 minutes. Pull your skin tight and peel slowly for maximum effect. RRP £4.95 for 3.
I also received a bonus sneak peek of Louise Petland’s debut novel. I’ve not had a minute to read it yet, but rest assured, when I’ve ushered the kids to bed and run myself a bath, this book with be coming in with me!
