It’s pretty hard to deny your hipsterish ways, only to admit that you subscribe to an artisan stationery box and look forward to it coming every month!
And that’s exactly what I do. I LOVE stationery.
I’m aware I’m a month late for sharing the contents of my July box, but I got my August box on Saturday which reminded me. I can’t share my August box contents for a few days because some of my overseas readers get their box a few days later and don’t like spoilers!
July’s box was full of classy treats from Rhodia.
I think the notebook is my favourite.
The cover is super soft and the pages aren’t ruled, they’re dotted! I am going to spend many an evening making geometric patterns and colouring them. A very therapeutic way to spend an evening now that summer is fading.
It also has a secret pocket at the back for stowing notes, paperclips or maybe secret spy codes (it’s okay, I won’t tell anyone)!
The pencil is a triangular shape which feels pretty ergonomic and marks the paper nicely (I’ve been using it to do my dotty pictures). The rubber is good too, not something that rubbers who reside on top of pencils can usually boast.
The soft leather pencil case has a really classy feel about it. I feel like it’s too posh to take to uni and will reside with my posh uni stuff I keep at home that Accidental Hipster Dad is banned from touching (he snapped the clippy bit off my french pen!).
Also included were two pocket books ruled with squared paper. I’ll find these useful once I finally get involved in taking my woolly wares to craft fayres, I’ll be able to do some quick sums and record keeping on-the-go.
Every month we get some postcards too. I never use them because they are too nice, I keep them and sometimes use the extra nice ones as bookmarks so I get see them a lot.
My favourite this month is the orange one with the girl on. So pretty.
So now you’ve seen the contents of this box, I don’t seem so mad, do I?
All of this is from Spotlight Stationery, the next box ships 23rd September. I didn’t get anything in return for this post, I just really like my stationery subscription boxes.
Stay tuned for August’s box, the post will be live later this week!
