My January has seen two birthdays, four uni deadlines and a fair few sleepless nights. It has been powered by caffeine, sugar and junk food. So now it’s over, it’s time to draw a line.
I’ve been running and I’ve made some excellent meal choices alongside the junk food, but my head hasn’t been in the game. Here is where I need to commit to an exercise regime, eat my five-a-day and get a few more hours sleep. A public commitment like this seems to carry more weight with me, I hate to show myself up and not keep my promises. It shames me into being healthy and getting results. The only way I perform well is if I’m either strongly praised or I’m desperately avoiding embarrassment.
The aim for February is to reduce my sugar and caffeine intake, earn 20 Weight Watchers Activity Points each week, eat more fresh fruit and veg, prepare meals in advance and go to bed earlier.
I’m tired of the lethargy and sick of feeling run down, I can’t wait to improve my lifestyle and improve my health with it.
I’m looking forward to my Febtox, I’ll keep you informed!
