I have the issue that I’m sure a lot of parents face – my daughter isn’t a regular size.
She’s almost 8, tall for her age and quite skinny. In lots of shops size 7-8 is too small but 9-10 is often too big on the waist, so it’s usually down to trial and error.
When dealing with an online company, you just have to give your best guess and I’m pleased to report the sizing in the Boohoo kids’s range is exactly as I was hoping/expecting.
I went for varied sizes like I normally would, sizing up for things that didn’t have a waist to make sure they were long enough. This is how I would normally shop and I no trouble with sizing.
Emma chose the clothes herself (the website offers a range of age appropriate items, so I was happy to give her this freedom) and really enjoyed modelling them for me (there’s more on my Instagram feed), she’s such a natural!
We ordered at about 8:30 at night and the clothes were with us before 11am the next morning! Amazing!
We sized up in the top and the jacket as we always have to for length and we picked our normal size in the skirt, all fitted perfectly! I love how the outfits looks stylish and bit grown up, without leaning into the realms of inappropriate.
(trainers our own)
We chose the normal 7-8 size for these as the leggings are slightly cropped anyway, length wasn’t an issue (and no one wants to size up and have baggy leggings!).
We love the cold shoulder trend and it’s great to find such pretty kids’ clothes that do the trend so well. It’s a slightly more sporty look but manages to stay girly with the floral print, which suits my daughter perfectly!
She’s got the pose down! Again we sized up as we normally would in dresses so this is a 9-10 and exactly what I expected. The print on this dress is beautiful and I would love one for myself!
They also have a great range for little boys, so when my son is older, we’ll be getting him some clothes from Boohoo too!
We were lucky enough to receive these clothes in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own (except where they are my daughter’s!). This post may contain affiliate links.
