As I mentioned in a previous post, I did a parcel exchange with a lovely lady named Katrina over at www.mommaknowsbest04.blogspot.co.uk so head on over there after here.
First up, she kindly included some bonus gifts for my daughter so she wasn’t left out. She made a very good call and got a load of Frozen stuff, which my daughter absolutely adores. My daughter is thrilled, by the way!
Next up is my son’s gifts, all brilliant too:
Mickey Mouse Bibs
A true essential in any household that posses a tot. Babies don’t just make a mess when they eat and drink, they tend to dribble a lot too when they are teething. This can make the neck of their clothing wet and make their skin sore. These bibs are beautiful and have that wonderful waterproof fabric as a backing so once they are wet, the clothes will still be protected. All my existing bibs have suffered some wear and tear now so I was in need of a handsome update. Very gladly received!
Pop Out Police Station
Says 3+ for the age but I think that is just a guideline so that your child can operate it themselves. There’s no tiny parts that would cause any concern. I operate this for my boy and he thinks it’s a real hoot! He’s not quite walking but is the master of speed when he’s on all fours, he chases it across the lounge, giggling as he goes. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with a tot but I suppose it’s always best to supervise use, just in case that age recommendation is for a reason I haven’t considered.
Say Please, Little Bear by Peter Bently
A very cute little story which was very age appropriate. Little Greggles loves being read to but often gets distracted if there’s too many words on a page. This book was perfect: only a few words and lots of large, colourful illustration. He listened patiently and kept smiling and babbling to me as if we were having a real conversation about the book.
I’ve saved this until last because it went down a treat! The tag Katrina had written said it makes drinking water fun, and it truly did. He loved the way it looked and seemed to love the way it felt too, he was exploring the springy straw with his hands and grinning a lot.
Then he point blank refused to let me have it and even got his mean face on!
All in all,the whole package was a success!
