Eufy Smart Scale Review – A Fantastic Weigh Loss Tool

I recieved my own Eufy Smart Scale for the purpose of this review.

It’s no secret that I’ve been trying to lose weight for some time. I haven’t attended any slimming clubs recently, so the accuracy of ten-year-old bathroom scales is questionable at best. I had some Bluetooth scales in the recent past, but they broke when we moved house, so most of my weigh-ins have involved an element of guesswork.

When I was offered a Eufy smart scale to review, I was very excited. I’d already heard of the brand as they’re well-known for their innovative electronics (their Robovac is on our tech wishlist). I knew I’d be getting a scale I could count on.

The Eufy Smart Scale

The Eufy Smart Scale is available on Amazon and arrives well-packaged with batteries supplied. When you first get the scale out of the box, there is a quick start guide that advises you to download the Eufy Life app and put the batteries in the back of the scale.

Once you’ve downloaded the app and created a profile, it’s time to check that the scales work. There is a tiny, clickable button that can be seen on the pic above in the top centre of scale, which is what turns the scale on for the first time. When you press it, it searched for Bluetooth, so make sure your phone’s Bluetooth is on and your Eufy Life app is open.

The scale has a really slick design, it just looks like white glass with a silver circle in the middle when the display is off, but when it’s on, the numbers are illuminated white.

What The Eufy smart scale measures

The Eufy Smart Scale measures in lbs or kgs, but since I’m British, I find kgs hard to work in so I kept the lbs setting. The app measured weight loss/gain and puts it into a handy graph for you to see how well you’re doing. It also measures several different areas of health.

The smart scale keeps track of lots of different measurements

Alongside weight and BMI, the Eufy smart scale also records body fat percentage, water, muscle mass, bone mass, BMR, visceral fat, lean body mass, body fat mass, bone mass, muscle mass, body age and protein. It also lets you know whether these measurement are normal, high or low. I won’t share mine, but there were a lot that scored ‘high’ for me – something I’m hoping to change!

The Eufy app also connects to your Fitbit app and records more accurate weight results than the Fitbit app allows you to type in yourself.

My overall thoughts

Despite the smart scale confirming that I’m very overweight, I do really like it. It’s helped me think of other fitness goals aside from weight loss that I wouldn’t have even dreamed of in the past.

I’m desperate to see my graph shoot down at each weigh in and hopefully see my body fat decrease as muscle mass increases.

I genuinely think is a fantastic scale, so if you’re in the market for an accurate smart scale that does more than just weight you, definitely go for this.

Weight loss can be difficult to monitor, I've previously struggled with the accuracy of some of the scales I've owned. That isn't the case with the Eufy smart scale, as it's very accurate and measures more than just your weight. REad the full review here! #weighloss #slimming #diet #heathyliving
