Wonder Woman Moleskine

Why I Love Getting a New Notebook – ft. Wonder Woman Moleskine [AD]

I’m a bit of a stationery addict, which means whenever I get anything new to write with or on, I’m exceptionally happy. Pens hold a special place in my heart, but for me, notebook are where it’s at.

Empty notebooks are full of hope. A blank page can scare some writers, filling them with dread and making their ideas shrivel.

Not me though. I like it when a blank pages stares me square in the.

To me, a blank page is a challenge. It offers me out, leering, “give me your best shot”.

Sometimes I do, sometimes I can actually write something half decent, but if I don’t I just rip it out. I like to return to a blank notebook, even if its dogeared and half-destroyed.

Bad writing never hang on in there for me to cringe at in years to come. I evict it without a second thought and create a blank notebook once again.

Wonder Woman Moleskine

I was kindly sent a Wonder Woman Moleskine to write in (and rip out). It is my first notebook from the iconic brand, and probably a rite of passage I missed out on in my teenage years. Had I been born a few years earlier, I’d have probably jotted down some emotional outpourings in a trusty Moleskine, rather than complaining about teenagedom to my friends on Livejournal.

I especially like this Moleskine, because I think Wonder Woman is pretty inspiring (for a fictional lady). She’s strong, feisty and gets stuff done. She’s also a dab hand with a lasso, which is a skill I could use when I’m rounding up my feral children.

The notebook itself has some cool inner sleeves. The lasso of truth at the front:

And an illustration of Wonder Woman at the back with a pouch containing some cool stickers.

The outer cover is gorgeous and feels like it is very high quality (I’d expect nothing less from Moleskine). It’s a hardcover with rounded edges and has a striking image of the super hero.

I really love my Wonder Woman Moleskine and I promise if I fill my blank pages with something worth reading, you lot will be the first people to see it.

While you’re here, I also have an unrelated post on some cool pens from Stabilo.
