Mink lashes have been at the top of my beauty shopping list for a while now. I’ve been a fan of false eyelashes ever since I discovered how the right lashes could massively transform your look.
I’m not going to pretend I don’t go all-out glam for any occasion where people might see me – I definitely do; but faux mink eyelashes manage to take that glamour up a notch.
My go-to cheap lashes are usually in a natural ‘wispy’ style and I have to add mascara to make them really stand out, so I’ve been ready for a change for a little while.
Luckily for me, False Eyelashes (.co.uk) contacted me to offer up some false eyelashes of my choice. I was obviously going to choose some mink lashes, but I was spoilt for choice!
In the end, I settled on these amazing faux mink lashes:
The lashes I selected were Esqido Mink Lashes – Voila Lash, are they divine? I also chose some black Revlon lash glue (which I think is the best lash glue about, I’ve tried loads of others and nothing makes your lashes look as seamless as the black glue from Revlon).
The Esqido Mink Lashes retail at £25.00, which sounds like a lot but they are reusable and when you care for them properly, they’ll last for ages.
There would be no point in telling you how glam they are without showing you, so this is the first look I created:
You can’t deny how stunning those lashes are, they really make the look!
I found them really easy to apply, especially because the band is already curved, so they didn’t end up sticking on funny (like some flimsier strip lashes do). They’re light and fluttery and looked incredible impressive with my eyes open.
The lashes came with instructions that advised how to size them up and trim them. The band size perfect, so I didn’t need to trim them (which I’m pleased about because I’d have made a hash of it.)
When you’ve finished wearing your mink lashes, peel off the glue and store them in their case. If you’ve got any makeup residue on them, use a tiny amount of micellar water on a cotton bud to wipe it away (keeping your lashes clean prevents infection).
I LOVE my new mink lashes and I intend to take great care of them so they can continue amp up my glam for a long time. I can’t fault falseeyelashes.co.uk (who kindly sent me these lashes) on their selection or their service. 100% would recommend.

The Eylure false lashes are my favourite. I like the volume ones as they are perfect for daytime wear.
I’ve used false lashes before but I always think they will fall off, especially after a few drinks. The mink ones look vey striking though x

At 40 and I only just wore my first pair of false eye lashes on the weekend so definetly some thing I’m going to wear more often.
I like the look of eylure, but after several attempts of false eyelashes I can never seem to get them to look right

I actually buy my lashes on ebay you can buy 5 pairs for £1.99 i love the Vivi collection false lashes which are like the demi wispie lashes. They’re very easy to apply. I love them!
Ive tried too many times that Ive lost count and I just cant get to grips with them!

Wowsers, these give you some va va voom, I have never tried falsies, I am a bit scared!
I tried them once, years ago and they just stuck to my glasses all night, never bothered again!
I’m quite lucky I have long eyelashes so don’t normally use them … plus I’m terrible at putting them on. But I do have the katy perry styled ones and a few superdrug lashes eylure
I love Primark lashes and I especially love the Disney princess lashes

I tried to apply false lashes once but gave up as I couldn’t put them on properly, I wish I could do this as I would love to try a look with fuller lashes
I tried wearing false eyelashes once, many years ago, and ended up having to remove them as they felt so uncomfortable and itchy. I’ve never tried them since
I have never worn them myself but my teenage granddaughter does she’s used the primark ones and they look very nice
I absolutely adore the Doll Beauty range of eyelashes. My favourite are their Eva style.
