When you think of Jacamo Clothing, you’d be forgiven for thinking it only caters for the larger sizes of men’s clothing. It was only recently that I realised the sizes actually begin at “S” like in most shops, but goes up to 5XL (like very few shops). This is yet another inclusive fashion brand I can get on board with (you may remember from my other fashion articles, I’m all about inclusive fashion – for men or women).
Jacamo reached out to us and very offered us a handful of new clothes for Accidental Hipster Dad to try out. He’s usually an all-round medium, so definitely not plus size. We received 3 tops and a pair of trainers in return for featuring some items on the blog.
My favourite top is this gorgeous shirt.
It’s more smart/casual than anything, so he’s not had much chance to wear it over this super hot summer. He’s been mostly living in shorts and loose fitting T-shirts to keep him cool, but now the autumn is upon us, I expect I’ll be seeing him in it a bit more.
He also got two almost identical T-shirts that look like this.
There’s probably no need to show you both, because the colours are quite similar and my camera didn’t show much of a difference!
He’s been loving this because it’s cool and being 100% cotton, it’s being a godsend in this heat.
We were also sent these trainers, which I think might be Accidental Hipster Dad’s favourite (I’ve lifted his trouser legs to show of the colour, his trousers fit properly, I promise).
The sizes were as expected, we didn’t need to size up or down, despite choosing a variety of items. This means if you’re thinking of buying some presents for your husband, you won’t need his opinion, just buy his normal size.
I’ve also washed the clothes and found they survive laundry well. Nothing shrunk, no colours ran and the T-shirts didn’t pill (which is on of my pet hates).
I’d definitely recommend Jacamo clothing for any man who wants a wardrobe update (or anyone who wants to updated the wardrobe of the man in their life). As someone whose size changes vastly, I love inclusive fashion ranges because I always know I’ll find something. I think it’s fabulous that there’s a men’s shop that caters for so many sizes too.
