I’ve been out of the skincare loop a little while, whilst I concentrated on other things, so I hadn’t heard of Spa Technologies UK until I was approached to review their Flower Peel Serum. After a quick Google search I realised I’d seen their products on Instagram and liked the sound of them. Another great vegan brand is Veautie, who sell makeup, skincare and haircare that’s all vegan and cruelty-free!
Spa Technologies UK is a marine based (specifically seaweed and algae) skincare brand that helps repair and build the collagen matrix in your skin, which in turn helps to keep your skin looking young.
Spa Technologies UK Flower Peel Serum Review

The Spa Technologies UK range is extensive, and I tried the Flower Peel Serum. The serum contains natural ingredients that are designed to reduce uneven skin tone, boost collagen production, and gently exfoliate whilst nourishing your skin.
The Flower Peel Serum is designed to be applied twice a day, after cleansing but before your normal moisturiser/makeup routine. It’s full of anti-oxidants and anti-inflammatory ingredients to help stimulate new cell growth and firm your skin.
My experience of the Flower Peel Serum
The serum comes out of a pump action spout as a light-brown, runny gel. Only one pump is meant to be applied to your face and neck, but I found one pump didn’t usually provide enough to cover the full area, so I’ve been using two.

It’s sweet smelling, and reminds me of a pleasant herbal tea scent. I expected it to smell more overtly floral, but I think I prefer the subtle aroma the serum gives off.
I have used the Flower Peel Serum for about a month now (I like to give things like this a proper try) and I really like it.
When I apply it after a deep cleanse, I notice a mild tingling or stinging in my T-zone (which is usually my problem area).
For months I have experienced the seemingly permanent problem of flaky skin at the sides of my nostrils and blocked pores on my chin. After about three weeks of applying the Flower Peel Serum, I no longer have flaky skin and my pores seem clearer and smaller on my chin. If I had to comment about what the serum did as a whole, I would say that it made my skin much smoother all over.
I have combination skin, that’s sometimes sensitive. The serum claims to work with all skin types including sensitive and acne-prone, so although I can’t speak from experience, I don’t see any reason why it would be unsuitable for anyone.
All in all, I like the serum, I’ll probably buy some more when my bottle runs out, and I’d be excited to try the rest of the range.
