Perfect Wardrobe: Tips On How To Discover Your Unique Style

Personal signature style makes us feel confident: we can express our individuality with our clothes and show up as who we are in the world. It is also time-saving: if you have a functional stylish wardrobe that fits your character you can always open your wardrobe and pick the perfect outfit in five minutes, having more time for spending time with your family or gambling online black jack games. Time management is very important for me as a mother, and I don’t want to struggle to choose outfits. No idea where to begin? Here are some steps to find your signature style and develop a stylish, yet efficient wardrobe.

The first thing to do is to try to figure out the clothes to be anchors of your style. What are you interested in, what items of clothing and accessories do you like the most? Which items will you wear forever? Then look for inspiration on the Internet or magazines and look for pictures of the most liked images, clothing combinations, and accessories. Well, in general, you get the point – all the beautiful and stylish collected in a separate file or folder. You have to make a large folder and it can take you a long time, well, maybe two weeks – do not hurry – make breaks. Every time try to figure out certain preferences (certain styles, necklines, shoes, etc.) They are unique and make your outfits truly remarkable.

 Make your closets checklist

The audit of your closet should begin with a simple action: Look at what things it consists of, and assess whether it is possible to compose a capsule closet. “Capsule” is a set So, after analysis, you need to try on everything you have, combining things in as many variations as possible. Evaluate the result not only in the mirror but also in selfies. Later on, the ready-made photos will allow you to think easily about what to wear and quickly find things for the image. Do not forget about the jewelry! Include them in the example as well. Surely there will still be clothes that do not fit anything or combine with 1-2 things. And you can always complement the existing items with something new.

Define your color type

Don’t try to determine your color type by one of the formulas that are plentiful online, such as the seasons. You will get even more confused and put yourself into a box. Everything is much simpler. Go to the mirror (it’s better to do it in daylight) and put it face. If there were “bruises” under the eyes, “went” along the face stains, or other flaws – then this is NOT your color.

Analyze your body type

When choosing a closet, you should choose styles that emphasize the advantages of the figure and hide its flaws. There are five common body types. Choose

Choose  your signature accessories

If you want your style to be truly individual, be sure to choose a piece that will make you stand out from the rest. It can be a neckerchief, an exclusive hat, glasses, colorful laces, or jewelry – there are a lot of options. The most important thing is that this thing must perfectly fit your image. Pay attention to the recognized style icons of our planet: they always have distinctive details in their bow.

Think about your lifestyle

Before putting together a versatile closet, determine your lifestyle. What does it consist of? Calculate as a percentage how much time you spend on work, study, family, leisure, sports, etc. For example, if you’re a fitness instructor and most of your life is spent coaching, then the basis of your closet will be comfortable clothes in a sporty style.

 Try new things

Try to feel how comfortable you are with the new look. Try a different hairstyle. Maybe a new haircut or coloring, or maybe both. But if you’re not sure, it’s better not to drastically change your hair. Go to a wig store and try on the wigs you like, and get a feel for how you feel. Try a new makeup look. You can do it yourself or go to a makeup artist. Go to a shopping mall and try on new looks, or just a new style/print/fabric/accessories/decorations. And remember, personal style is an external reflection of your internal style. If you change, your style should change, too.
