How To Throw A Sophisticated Rose Gold Themed Birthday Party

Ahhhhh, birthday parties, you remember them, don’t you? You know where you had people that don’t live with you come to your house, stand less than 2 meters apart, and eat cake? Yes, true birthday parties with guests that are anybody other than the people in your home are not possible at the moment, but with the rollout of the vaccine, it looks like things could start to return to normal sometime soon. Of course, when that happens they’ll be plenty of lockdown birthdays to make up for, and one of the best ways of doing this is to throw a gorgeous, on-trend rose gold themed party. An activity you can read all about in my post below.

Invites

First of all, as it will have been some time since most people have been able to attend a party, it is important to up the ante and get everyone as excited as possible. Of course, the best way to do this is to send real-life snail mail invitations! After all, what is more, thrilling than receiving an invitation in the post?

The good news is that to find these is rose gold you don’t have to get crafty with a Pritt stick and some tin foil. Instead, look for a metallic foil printing specialist that can create these invites for you. Indeed, you can get foiled invites in pretty much any colour you like so no matter what theme you choose you can get things started on the right foot.

Decorations

Next, the decor is an essential aspect of throwing a party to get right. Happily, rose gold is one of the most on-trend colours right now so it’s pretty easy to find what you will need. Indeed, you can get balloons, tassel garlands, bunting, and all sorts of fun decor packs online.

Although if you go for the tissue paper balls, remember that you will need to assemble them yourself, something that can take a while. Also, look for rose gold letters and number balloons to personalise the party. In particular, these can make wonderful centerpieces for your dessert table.

Food & drink

No party is complete without some yummy things to eat and drink. Of course, you will need to make sure that at least some of them fit with your rose gold theme. What that means is choosing a cake that is decorated with some rose gold accents. Sugar flowers painted with a wash of rose gold edible decorating power works well. Although, you can also get some great rose gold glitter sprays that will smarten up even the most basic of naked cakes.

When it comes to drinks, it’s important to cater to your guest’s needs. Therefore if it is a party for a child that you are throwing, some rose gold paper cups and straws to serve water and juice is the best idea. However, if you are expecting a more adult crowd, why not try some rose gold themed cocktails like these? You can even mix them in rose gold cocktail shakers!
