After having another baby this year, I was faced with the task of seeking out Christmas Eve box ideas for baby. I was a little out of practice, but soon found some inspiration for a cute little Christmas Eve box so that the baby of the family isn’t left out. She might not be old enough to enjoy hot chocolates and the other treats her older siblings get, but there’s not need for her to miss out on the tradition!

A special bauble to remember baby’s first Christmas
I think it’s essential to have keepsakes for baby’s firsts and baby’s first Christmas is no exception. Get a special bauble to hang on your tree Christmas Eve and keep as a memory for years to come. Available in red, pink or blue for £10.
A stocking to hang out on Christmas Eve
If this is the first Christmas your baby has been around for, then they’ll definitely need a stocking to hang on Christmas Eve. Without a stocking, where will Santa put their gifts?! Get a large stocking for £16 (pictured) or a small stocking for £10.

My older kids always get a festive book in their Christmas Eve boxes, and this baby book, I Saw Santa, is ideal for Orlaith. I imagine she’ll enjoy looking through it but will probably enjoy chewing it just as much!
A novelty outfit
What’s the point of having a baby if you’re not going to dress it up once in a while? I always dress Orlaith in event-appropriate attire. She has a novelty outfit for every special occasion. You can get a Santa suit with a skirt, or a plain baby Santa suit depending on your tastes!
A posh outfit for the big day
Christmas Day is a day for finery! Everybody in our houses dresses up and baby will be no exception. I take lots of photos of the family, so I love it when they dress up. I want to look back in years to come and admire how everyone looks. Something like a fancy frock or a cute romper with braces will do the trick.
